Great video. I've found that 23H2 is very inconsistent/broken with Ryzen CPUs, I've got two fresh installs on two different SSDs (same SSD model), configured in the exact same way, and across multiple games they produce very different results.

I know right? the Dual CDD 3D cache 7900X3D wasn't working as it should on the first 2 installs (win 23H2 and 24H2), but in the third one (23H2 as well + branch prediction update) did work properly, getting a massive boost due to 3d cache being properly used (usually using CCD0 only). Thanks for leaving a comment here btw

I posted in your discord my r6s before and after, not at 1080p but my gpu and cpu render times were much smoother. 5800x3d is still keeping up in most titles.

Considering Zen 5 is so new we will see more updates on all of them that will unlock more of Zen 5's power. It's getting to the point where there is so many variables in hardware Drivers and engines just one variable setting can throw testing off. it getting hard to do basic standard testing.

Hey, Fabio! Great video and great job going into detail about everything! I myself updated to 24H2 a week or so ago on my Ryzen 5 5600H / RTX 3060M laptop, and I noticed noticeably higher gains on more CPU-intensive games!
I have a off-topic question I've wanted to ask, just out of curiosity: Have you ever thought about renaming your channel? You primarily focus on tech, benchmarks, drivers, and so on, so the name Ancient Gameplays seems a bit ( for a lack of a better word ) not exactly what you make? Ancient Tech, Ancient Hardware, Ancient Systems seems to make more sense ( just some off the top of my head ).
Just wanted to ask but lacked the words to do so without coming off as rude, but if it did come off as rude I am very sorry!

    • @AncientGameplays
