My history teacher made me memorize the year 1066, and it's been stuck in my head ever since. The book you read on it sounds interesting. I really enjoyed Wizard's First Rule, but Temple of the Winds made me DNF the series.
I’ve no doubt you’re aware and that others have mentioned it as well, but (and don’t get me wrong, the show is actually one of my favorite shows of all time) the character of Green Arrow/Oliver Queen from the show is different from the comics. He’s far more of a Batman type character in the show. But, I also remember loving him in the comics that I’ve read (old ones). Great to hear from you! -T

I just taught Chaucer's "The Squire's Tale" in my sci fi class (as proto-science fiction). It has a robotic horse in it.
