To do a vegetarian chicken pot pie, Quorn makes Diced "Chiqin" Pieces. Their flavor and texture is amazingly chicken-like -- and gently browning it before putting in the pie deepens the flavor. These vegetarian miracles work in a lot of soups, stews, and other foods which would otherwise require chicken. By the way... Chitterlings (pron. "CHIT-lins") were created by slaves, because they were often forced to subsist on the parts of animals which their owners didn't want.

Vegetarian is vegetables, maybe dairy, maybe eggs. Vegan is only vegetables. Most American food is omnivore. As a person who is from the American South, it is possible to eat vegan or just leave the animal products out but if you fix it authentically, it will include meat and animal products. NO, they are NOT somosas. They are more like donuts than anything else. When I eat Indian food, I eat whatever is cooked. I realize there may be religious restrictions but I'd suggest you just forget vegan, vegetarian and just try souther US comfort food regardless of whether or not it contains animal products.
I've noted how as you go further east the ppl in regions resemble Orientals more as you keep traveling east I like how you ppl will have your heads go back and forth, I actually do that sometimes I wonder about your ppl tend to often refer to aunts and uncles I've never heard of biscuits and gravy using cheese! UGH!! no more pork rinds for me!! I've never gotten your differentials about use of too much spices and with health you either say their good for health or their not or you'll use spices in foods were not at all accustomed to
