Chasing Big Fish on Strip Baits in Moreton Bay.

- Started off on the hunt for some pike for bait, managed 10-15 in a reasonably short time, then decided to head up to the spot I wanted to fish overnight. Ran into some Tuna bust ups, one for Brocky, and I dropped one boat side.
Set up for the night on some deep scattered structure and sent down some pike strips in pattenosters. Brocky cleaned up with a huge Grassy sweetlip and 2 cod, I couldn’t buy a bite.
Just as we were about to call the session, my bait gets smacked, and I reel up a dirty shark.

For anyone wondering, the certificate on the sweetlip came back, it went from 36cm-48cm in just over 12 months, pretty insane growth rate.
Better light system would work wonders for ur show. But great cod. My favourite fish to eat. Yum 👍

But yea I’ve filmed plenty of sessions fishing bait and I never put them out cause they’re painfully boring and hard to watch, however this was a pretty fun session.

Hahaha nah got an offshore session coming, out fished 3 boys with the placcies, depends on the scenario.
If you know what you're doing, plastics will outfish in the bay.
