- We are first-year students living in the Honors College Sawtooth Hall at Boise State University! We have four single rooms sharing two bathrooms and a common area. Please leave any questions below.
Im starting this August 15th, and im going to be in Sawtooth Hall and / or Honor's Hall

Also, are all the dorms in the honors hall this configuration of 4 person single rooms?
@@RainboBrite22 There is this set up, one with only two people sharing a common room and bathroom and one where two people have a half wall in between them and they share a bathroom with two others (4 people total) all available for freshman housing in the honors college

I know this video was 2 years ago, but I’m applying to the BSU honors college right now and I’d love to know how hard it is to get in, how the community is, and how the classes are. I really want to be a part of the honors college, and I have good grades and test scores but I’m a little lacking on leadership stuff, how important did you think that was?

Is there no drawers for the desk? Also did the black metal storage thing above the toilet or shower thing come with the dorm

Yes! The layouts are the same
How did you get the suite style? Do they randomly assign or were you able to request it
They randomly assign but I think you could email housing and try requesting it
What do you wish you had brought with you? Does the honors college provide toilet paper and cleaning supplies, shower curtain? Is there air conditioning?
They do not provide toilet paper or cleaning supplies, they did have a thin shower curtain. I was very thankful for my mini fridge!
Do you have to be in honors in high school to be able to go to honor sawtooth hall
Nope
You just need to apply. As long as you've done a couple of extracurricular or worked in high school and have a good GPA you should be able to get in
Hi, do you still live in sawtooth? Is there any difference between the non honors and honors side? Should I get an apartment instead or is it more expensive? Whats your experience living here and rating 1/10 (I'm gonna be a freshmen next year and this place looks the nicest so)
I do not live here anymore. I loved living on campus but think you can get a similar experience at most of the on campus living. I would highly recommend checking out the Living Learning Program!!!!
is the honors side for anyone who can get it or do you have to be like special lol. help i’m new to all of this:) going to boise next year
You don't necessarily have to be in the honors college to live on that side but they do have priority. Sawtooth is open to anyone though. Also I would recommend checking out the Living Learning Program!
did the rooms come with a mirror? i’ve heard different answers
The bathroom mirror came with the room but the individual full length mirrors in our rooms we brought!
