Converted Muslims can never like the faith they converted out of. That defeats their faith they are following. Abrahmic faiths approve of hate and preach hate especially among converted people.
Being an European I'd to ask whether all of Muslim countries including Pakistan are the democratic and secular but India is still democratic and secular country.

Not only Najam Sethi but Pervez Hoodbhoy, Ishrat Husain, Hasan Nissar as well as supposed left liberal politicians like Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also make the same comments complaining about oissibility if India not remaining secular. All the while none of them have ever said that Pakistan ahould be secular.

You will understand what understanding he has got about India and its history. He is nothing less than any extremist minded Pakistani that you can find who has a skewed view about India and Hindus.
They all have similar kind of upbringing, be it a scientist or a mullah. So, hatred towards India and non-muslims are fed into their brain and heart right from their childhood days.

As per the 1973 constitutuon, no non-muslim could become COAS, President, PM or CJP of Pakistan.
Jigindernath Mandal who activeky worked for creation of Pakistan returned to India within a xouole of years of partition. His letter is available in public domain.

Najam Sethi used to be a level headed political analyst till a couple of years ago OR was I erring then ? His blindly towing the line of our frustrated opposition parties of India , without even making an analysis why they could be saying so, casts a doubt on Seth's intelligence .Modi does not need to impose any draconian laws against democracy, bcz so long as he contests elections in India. He is loved so much by the people for his commitment to the nation, that he will always continue to win hands down.

Najaf Sethi’s neuron seems have imploded. He seems to know NOTHING about India. He was talking about South Indians not knowing Hindi. I’m from the state of Karnataka. During our school days, we had a (and even now) 3 language learning requirement, ie. Kannada, English and Hindi. The first two being mandatory, students could choose to learn Urdu, French, German etc. instead of Hindi. Surprisingly most Muslim students in my class chose Hindi and not Urdu. I can speak, read and write in Hindi and many others who have been to school until at the age of 16 do. We may not be as fluent as the native Hindi folks since opportunities to speak in Hindi does not present itself except in big cities such as Bengaluru, Mysuru etc.This is the case with all southern states except Tamilnadu.🎉

We Hindus never wanted any partition of India. A lot of Muslims also supported the idea of an united India. British with the help of Jinnah and Gandhi divided India in 1947.
