Moto Guzzi Meeting 2024 at the Mendel Pass Anyone touring through the Allgäu towards South Tyrol on a motorcycle thinks that the routes are firmly in the hands of the white-blue brand! Not so at the beginning of October 2024 The Facebook group Moto Guzzi Stelvio 2024 DE - AT- CH invited to the Moto Guzzi meeting on the Pene-gal at the Mendel Pass and with single-digit temperatures and rainy weather at the beginning, some really followed this invitation! Unfortunately the weather did not play along at all at the beginning and the riders of the brand with the eagle were happy to sit on these motorcycles suitable for touring ! The new and the old Stelvio, the V100 Mandello, many V85TT's and even a Griso made their way to South Tyrol. A Yamaha Tracer had also smuggled itself in! The market share of the "ladies from Lake Como" was finally 100% on the mountain passes. A sign that Moto Guzzi also belongs to the long-distance tours. After crossing the Timmelsjoch in heavy fog and temperatures around freezing point, we reached the Passeier Valley in spring-like weather. The rest of the journey over the Jaufenpass and the Penserjoch to the Ritten was pure pleasure. The 2-cylinder V-engines could really rumble along, and you really attracted attention everywhere you went. The highlight was the ride up to the Mendel Pass - perfect road surface and perfect route to the hotel. A boot beer rounded off a very successful day's riding. In the evening, we talked petrol, talked shop and discussed a test report on the Moto Guzzi models. Day 2 was the tour to the Kaiserjägerstrasse - the weather played along all day and so the 280 km tour could be enjoyed with some breaks with the best coffee and for some also cake on empty roads. Garmin also contributed one or two highlights with its Adventure Touring function.
