    i like to add a good dose of calcium when making potting mix, as soil-less media and many fertilizers lack any calcium, as i dont use bone meal..might give it a try.

    • @GrowNMore
      @GrowNMore  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bone meal is a good source of calcium, but the problem is it takes time to get dissolved in soil so that the plant can avail that. In that case, you are right, a good dose of dolomite or any calcium based inorganic products are best for their quicker action.

    The fertilizer in my potting mix will last 1 month. What can I do to maintain/refill the fertilizer contents in my potting mix after 1 month if I cannot transplant into a bigger pot? I can top dress the soil with compost & worm cast after a month but I also read on the Internet the NPK content of compost and worm cast is not sufficient on their own to grow plants.
    The potting mix consists of:
    1. Coco Peat
    2. Burnt Soil
    3. River Sand
    4. Rice Husk
    5. Organic Fertilizer
    6. Black Soil
