    It’s amazing that this is actually a thing. I was just trying to research the other day how to essentially multiply bacteria and create compost in a liquid state that is aerated.

    This was interesting to watch and a good teaser for your online course next year. Though in terms of practical knowledge, I don’t think there is enough offered here to equip viewers with the information required to apply this to our own context and how to make this liquid, as the title suggests. It seems as though the ratio of ingredients is highly important, given that you measure to the decimal point, but then a number of the ingredients mentioned weren’t defined, their purpose explained, and didn’t include the ratio or amount used in the recipe (though a few of the ingredients did include amounts). I’ll check out the other video you mentioned halfway through in the text note, but the “how to make” title implies this would provide more detail as a stand-alone video, rather than pointing to other resources or teasing a future course.

      Thanks but that's why I said go watch Chris' how to video to learn for beginners and get the recipe, in the beginning I said this is for people who already do KNF. The point was to show you guys extra details and how I'm scaling up, not the basics you can learn other places.

    Great video as always! Really tough to fit all the information into one video but you did a great job explaining the details and the differences between the two camps. Really digging the dedicated fridge for your KMF set up too!
    Do you have any experience with making your own Johnson Su compost?

      If you're planning on doing Jadam next year you have to start the JLF (Jadam liquid fertilizer) this year. It needs to break down for at least 6 months and is best at 1 year and more.

    Interesting. Idk that there was arguments between knf and JADAM. It seems to me it’s like the arguments between the gold and bitcoin community. Haha it’s like neither is necessarily supreme in everything and people probably should have some of both as they really are aimed at a similar goal. I think I’ll try to learn both knf and JADAM. But wow 5 years to get a good grip on it. That shows a lot of learning or experience needs to happen.

      Don’t waste your time with KNF or jadam unless you’re trying to promote the growth of disease, causing microbes KNF is literally responsible for more crop loss in the last several years than any other strategy. If you would like to actually be successful and promote beneficial microbs look into Living Soil and do not follow any KNF practices.

    Ya there’s a vermicompost operation in Texas and they say it takes like a year as they do a lot of wood chips and try for fungal dominated vermicompost. The channel growingyourgreens I think toured the place.
    A rancher on TH-cam in Colorado also showed a compost setup to try for fungal dominated compost. He put in pipes for air and after it heat up and cooled he’d remove the pipes and then add in worms. I forget the name. But he said he recommends 400
    Pounds of that compost per acre to inoculate the soil with fungal stuff. Cause he said ya can’t just really spray it on like bacteria teas. So ya going large scale if he uses 400 pounds per acre you’d need a massive compost setup or shop if it freezes in your area to really scale up. It’s crazy how intensive or expensive some agricultural systems get once you go from a small setup to trying to do hundreds of acres.

    • @koltoncrane3099
      @koltoncrane3099 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I forgot. Maybe the guy said fungal doesn’t expand or multiply like bacteria in aerated teas. I’ll have to try to find that video and watch it again.
      Great video. IBC 500 gallon totes are pretty versatile. I cut one in half for a worm bin.

    Correct me if I'm wrong please. Wouldn't the toxicity of the poke berries be transferred on into the soil since you're using the juice of the berry?

    • @NaturesAlwaysRight
      @NaturesAlwaysRight  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I only use the vegetative parts of the plants, the berries have the most. Fine for soil but wouldn't want to add any to my animal water even though it's at such a low dilution it would probably be fine.

      In the JADAM book he describes cutting fresh grass and laying it on the ground. It decomposes and right underneath it creates LMS. The other way I make it is too get a bunch of deciduous leaves from any plant and stack it up wrapped in chicken wire.
