    It’s the little details that I love noticing. When Plagueis is thinking to himself it’s his natural voice as opposed to his mechanical voice. Very very well thought out and it has certainly been noticed.

    The thoughts of Maul were on point! Including that Sidious was not invincible. In the movies Sidious is presented as someone who can’t lose. His own thoughts in this video reveal the struggle he went through.

    The dynamic is never MEANT to be sustained, and that is by design. Bane had decided to pursue another apprentice over Zannah as he was "getting up there" in years, and she had still not challenged him. He was convinced that she was just waiting for him to become old and infirm before finally and easily killing him. Of course, it didn't go down that way, but the apprentice should naturally reach a point where the temptation to prove themselves becomes impossible to ignore. If they are a true Sith anyway.

    "One to embody the power, the other to crave it." These are the words uttered by Darth Bane himself when forming the rule of two. The major flaw of the sith and the dark side as a whole is that once power has been achieved there will always be a desire to acquire more and dominate others. This is why despite the sith on multiple occasions in legends continuity being close to victory over the Jedi and the republic lose. The desire for power and to be on top of other sith will always be greater than vengeance against the Jedi. This is why Bane made the rule of two, instead of armies of sith betraying and undermining the goal of wiping out the Jedi two remain. Embodying the greatest strengths of the dark side and passing down the knowledge gained through the generations striking in the shadows at the core of the Jedi and republic like an assassin with a poisoned would to a man.

    Greetings Fulcrum Knights and thank you thank you thank you thank you so very much for the beautiful shout-out and for ending a painstaking search for my Sith name, i was prepared to call myself Darth Voluptus which is Latin for pleasure or delight, that was until you enlighted and bestowed upon me the title of Darth Indomitable, as I stride down the interstate listening I begin to invison my entire tractor trailer as one big meticulously bleed Kyber Crystal intertwined with red bolts of force lightning as I delivered value for the Trade Federation via Damask Transportation, my imagination can run amuck with this type of lore..........it is so much fun to listen to your voice overs which bring each character to life with visual perception , thank you again and I should reveal in my new title indomitbly / Hail Fulcrum

    Hello! I stumbled across your channel recently in a search for Star Wars audiobooks on YT. I’ve found I enjoy falling asleep to audiobooks or space podcasts at night, particularly readers with a deep, rich tone like yourself. I’ve recently been on a tear of Sith lore stories including the Darth Bane trilogy and a Maul book. I’ve quite enjoyed your reading of Darth Plagueis so far.
    I’m on Part 11 currently, but I’ve taken note of the amazing correspondence you’ve had with the community and wanted to chime in my appreciation. I’m on Part 11 currently but thought I would comment on the latest! Won’t know what to do with myself once I’m caught up! Probably devote time to considering my Sith Lord name. Thank you, best wishes.

    I simply loved your portrayal of Veruna in his dying moments. While I previously considered your narration to be on par with the official one by Daniel Davis on Audible, your portrayal of the condemned abdicator’s final emotions is far more realistic than Davis’ portrayal which seemed more akin to that of a sick old man, the transition to which didn’t make sense from the boisterous monarch he clearly was a chapter before.

      Darth Maul's ship the Scimitar or Sith Infiltrator had a cloaking device stiygium crystal from the planet Aeten 2, both Darth Sidious and General Grievous used the land on Dathamor to kill the Nightsisters in "Star Wars the Clone Wars", was used as the blueprint to make the TIE Fighter, and Lando Calrissian sold it the ship in "The Lando comic". The Scimitar is my favorite Sith ship very heavy armored with six laser cannons, a proton torpedo launcher, and a minelayer like Boba Fett's Slave One but less laser cannons, than the name Scimitar curved sword.

    I was happy to find this book in audio, as it's one that's been on my list for a while (this and the Dark Lord Trilogy).
    Im slowly losing my vision and can no longer read books. Most of my free time is spent working on Warhammer minis using magnification glasses. Having access to audiobooks is massively helpful in keeping me focused and entertained. Thank you so much for the work you do, it is greatly appreciated.
    I'd also recommend a few Warhammer books. There are some excellent crime novels such as Bloodlines that are great entry novels. The Eisenhorn trilogy is hands down my favorite series of all time.
    Also, you have an excellent vocal range. Keep up the good work!

    The novels “Labyrinth of Evil” and “Revenge of the Sith” are an excellent duology. The first describes event that end with Anakin and Obi-Wan jumping into hyperspace. The latter begins with them exiting from that hyperspace jump.
    I mention these novels because this one, “Darth Plagueis” was released as a stand-alone novel. But it is the perfect fit to the above duology to form a trilogy.

    Based on the Revan novel, Revan could not have beaten Emperor Palpitine. In that novel he is unable to defeat the Sith Emperor who is established as an analog to Palps. He even has the assistance of a darth Vader and a Luke skywalker analog (in terms of power and disposition). So I’d say no Revan never controlled the unlimited power wielded by a true master of the sith, like emperor palpatine or the sith emperor of Revan’s time. Oh, spoilers on decade old pulp fiction I guess.

    • @TheAshHeritor
      @TheAshHeritor 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Indeed, I don't think Revan would be able to defeat Sidious in anything but a direct fight, since Sidious' scheming and manipulation is unparalleled, but I think Revan has greater raw power than Sidious, so could take him in a direct fight (the question stands if Sidious would ever lapse in his schemes enough to allow such a fight to happen, naturally).
      The Sith Emperor you mentioned was Vitiate (or alternately known as Valkorion or Tenebrae)... who according to the lore I know, he was decidedly more powerful than Sidious ever could have been. The guy was on the verge of become a force god, and was eating planets.
      But that's just my assessment of the lore, which is, of course, open to interpretation.

    • @danishaffer2673
      @danishaffer2673 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t know much about the emperor dude he’s mostly in games I’ve never played. That’s why I specifically tied my argument to a text. In the Revan book the emperor dude isn’t made out that powerful. No more so than palps. don’t forget how powerful palps is at the battle of Endor he is controlling the entire imperial fleet like borg. At least according to Thrwn in, I think, Heir to the Empire. That’s incredible battle meditation, it had no visible effect on palpy at least.
      But I speculate that all the ‘rule of two’ sith or any sith who is the only true master of the dark side (remember Revan was never dark side he was hypnotized) is equally powerful. Or at least close enough it makes no difference. I’d say all sith masters are more powerful than Jedi. The Jedi gather strength from teamwork and each other, as their numbers grow so does their strength. The sith are powerful on their own and compelled to a life of paranoia, jealousy and envy. In groups sith self destruct, but when the whole of the dark side power is concentrated in one or two it is more powerful than any individual Jedi. Except Mace Windu but including Revan, we just all like Revan because KOTOR was maybe the best game of the twenty first century.

    • @maccurtis730
      @maccurtis730 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are some Star Wars versus videos made on Darth Vitiate or Valkorion vs Darth Sidious it is a matter of time Darth Vitiate had to make Sith Rituals which can take pre-time hours whereas Darth Sidious can activate his power in the moment and was a better dualist speed vs Sith Wizardary.

    @theocheese6732 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think that "the force" is misunderstood is a good thing becos it allows different interpretations.
    However I've come to see the force as just that it's a force but it likes to be used and stay "active" that's why it also tries to balance itself so if there's too much light or dark it wants the other side to come into play more so it stays active. This could be why the "prophecys" always refer to balance like yes it maybe good for us now but that would mean the otherside will start to gain more power.
    Also the jedi becoming complacent is another reason "the force" may see them as not fulfilling their will and gives birth to new kinds of force users.
    Just my 2cents. Thanks for the videos

    The rule of two is extremely flawed. All it would take is a ship explosion or something similar to wipe them out completely. Some people argue the in fighting. But all the old sith needed was better structure and laws. They would had to restructure thier culture to make a more stable empire. It could have been solved by stricter laws and rules it wasn't a unsolvable problem. When Bane genocided the sith he destroyed countless resources of dark side knowledge. Such a move was unnecessary there were other better ways to strengthen the sith without wiping most of them out.
