I’ve kept my statics dead stock since I got them. I love them. Same with a majority of the “grails” or “OG’s” from releasing (got about 8k of Yeezys DS). Im a collector for things. I finally decided today life is too short to not enjoy my collection.

i have done the same thing, been wearing the yeezy 700 v2s on the road for month, and I m just glad i made the decision. Ridiculously comfortable, held up extremely well and extremely easy to clean! Keep in mind that I was in chicago during the winter and stepped on some dirty snow but all I needed was a few quick wipes! Need more pairs soon!
When the snow hit in my country the first thing i did was wear my 700 wave runners (they were super dirty at that time since i didnt mind caring for them), and i just walked on the snow. When i check them back at home i see all the dirt gone lol. I was kinda suprised over it ngl

So I just copped my Statics in the rerelease (March '22) and they actually run smaller than my other 700s, but as Foamer mentioned, these are V2s, but they definitely fit smaller than my Wave Runners, Analogs, Enflamed, and Faded Azures (All V1s).
Over all. These bad mamajammas are going to see a lot of Play Time this Spring/Summer!
Same, I was used to my wave runners and I put these on, it felt weird af… like smaller but not enough to hurt my feet….anyways, they’re a little more comfortable than the WRs IMO. Been wearing the hell out of them, I may need to double up

Mike V. Mine fit great, are comfortable and still look brand new. Can’t attest to the comfort of V2s but if they’re anything like the original 700 I’m sure they’re super comfortable.

I’ve had my Mauve pair for a month now. And they really do get more comfortable and comfortable every time you wear them. And at least for me they don’t get dirty either. And the suede isn’t that difficult to clean off. It’s an unpopular opinion too but the Mauve is also my favorite 700.

Not being able to try on limited edition sneakers is definitely the a pain. Got the wave runners a half size up, so I also got these a half size up only to find they’re really loose.
Ross bellis throw an extra insole and some heel tabs in there, should help quite a bit. You'll find a way bro 👍

What I really hate about the V2 is the quality of the tread/outsole, the V1 is thicker and very durable compared to the V2 which is more thinner and wears out faster

I think a big con for static is they are too easy to look dirty compared to mauve. For mauve, I never need to care who stepped on my shoe because you can hardly find out. However for the color way like this. If some one stepped on my shoe, or my shoe hit on something dirty, it is so easy to find out. However as the suede is different than the mauve. So they are a little bit easy to clean. But I clean them much more often than the mauve.
These are clearly one of the most coveted Yeezys ever... My girlfriend missed out on the initial release and I guess we waited too long because at Flight Club, they're going for $850 in her size. As much as we both love Yeezys, she can't justify paying almost a thousand dollars for them. Let's hope they do a re-release.

Smashed a doubled espresso on mine the third day I worn em.
Thx god I was able to clean them perfectly fine with just water, since my cleaning stuff was empty. Had no impregnatio spray or something else on them.. still look like on the first day!
im hoping the inertia will have the strength and durability of the mauves even though its not as dark of a colorway

100% correct with sizing. Shit’s annoying with the switch up. Length wise it’s the same but the less padding makes the interior more roomy for sure
