I already follow all three of you! i always enjoy seeing fellow photographers collaborate like this. Kudos to Mark for including his son and teaching the younger generation to enjoy photography and nature.
Steve - fun to see you hang out with Mark Smith & son Torrence. I follow Mark as well. Really enjoy the photography he shares here. I spend winters in Ft Myers, Fl area - so utilize much of Mark’s info for getting out down there. Will also check out Isaac’s channel. Appreciate what you guys do. 👍
Wonderful stuff Steve.. it's lovely when you get to be in the field with friends who share your passion in what is normally a solitary pursuit... and a beautiful GGO too..!
Great! What a treat. I love Mark’s work, and thanks for introducing us to Isaac. I just returned to Washington from a “quick” road trip to the northern side of Yellowstone, I always wonder what you are up to. Thanks again for sharing your adventures with us!
Great video Steve and it is great to see my favorite photographers working together. I think yours and Marks videos are the best on TH-cam and Isaac is a great newcomer. I look forward to seeing you and Mark working together in Florida in the future. Thanks for sharing.
This just put me in such a great mood! What a beautiful owl :D LOVED the video, your photo is outstanding! Looking forward to seeing what everyone else got. Have a great weekend y'all!
Another great video Steve, I also follow Mark and glad the two of you had a chance to hookup. Wow...two master photographers at the same time, nice treat! I'll also be following Isaac, great stuff.
I was on my way to buy some Camo clothes to be sure I didn't miss any wildlife photography but you know what? After viewing this, I'm on my way to get a red cap. LOL! That was funny to see my two favorites youtubers on the same video. I really like what you're doing Guys. Bravo.
Love your enthusiasm and all the content, Steve. A bunch of us were observing great horned owls and two owlets in our beautiful river valley... so exciting... keep uptake fine work. jan
Steve - it has to be great to be in the field taking pictures with a group of your peers. I will be checking out Mark and Isaac channels. The video and images were beautiful.
Just subscribed to Mark's channel. Already subscribed to Isaac's from a previous time you featured him (I think his car was stuck in the snow). Love the collaboration videos.
Looks like a great trip out in the woods 😀 I totally agree about the 500 PF having just got one - I was trying to photograph a minke whale at the weekend and it was so easy handholding while waiting for it to surface!
What a cool Owl!! Would love to see more collabs with you and Mark Smith, you guys are my two favorite wildlife/nature TH-camrs. I will be sure to check out Isaac Spotts channel, he obviously has a great eye for spotting and I'm sure his images rank up with yours and Marks'...I mean why else would you invite him along 😜
Awesome vlog once again. The only 2 photographers I subscribe to, great to see you together. Now Steve, you have to go to Florida(maybe in Feb, March so not too hot) to hang out with Mark 😁
Fun video of you guys pursuing owl photographs together. Steve, just wondering how the Nikon 500mm PF is treating you. A friend of mine is considering buying one and I just wondered how you thought it stacked up against the faster Nikkor 500. Sony's new 200-600mm looks like it might be a real game changer for wildlife photographers. Thanks again for sharing this expedition.
Back in the early 90's I found some owlets looking down at me from the crotch of an enormous dead Cottonwood nest to the river. Excitement surged and I thought "Man I am going to get some excellent photos today!" That excitement faded quickly and turned to concern for my safety. I felt a strong presence that made me turn around. Sitting on a fallen branch not 10 feet behind me was Momma Great Gray Owl staring fiercely into my eyes flexing her Freddy Krueger talons. My first thought was how easily those talons could pierce my skull and end it for me. I talked to her calmly and slowly made my exit. Her intense gaze never broke eye contact until I was about 100 feet away when she then flew up to her funny looking kids. She reacquired eye contact and I decided to just let them be for now. I went back the next day fully prepared this time but they were gone.
I'm laughting about the difference in the lens size ahahah the extra stop doesn't compensate for the fact that you can not use without a tripod. I'm thinking to buying the nikon pf instaed the sigma 500mm due to this point xD
Awesome video Steve keep up the great work that you always display on this channel. You helped inspire me to create my own TH-cam channel in case anyone is interested in checking it out!! Thanks so much Steve!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing your area of the world with us. We had a great time. Can't wait to share our story with you!
Yessir! 👍👍

Isaac's fantastic vision should qualify him as a major league baseball hitter.
Or a wildlife photographer 😬

The 500 pf is excellent👍👍
Been missing your GGO videos!
They've been hard to find unfortunately...
Steve Mattheis It was an awful winter in Minnesota this year as well. Unfortunately they were hard to come by. Hopefully this coming winter is better.
Mark is a Florida treasure, send him back now but don’t tell him it’s in the 90’s.
David Dowling right? It frickin hit 109 in Belle Glade by Okeechobee.
Caleb Wilson little early for the heat,I’m on the beach side and no special treatment here, just a nice breeze.

Steve this may be a stupid question but what camera are you using for the video of the owl? Is it the camera your shooting stills with or another ?
Same camera, Nikon Z7 usually
