We found these Aussie Neck ties that are filled with a natural Gel ... you simply soak them in water and tie on the neck in hot weather it keeps the arteries in the neck nice and cool and therefore cools the whole body... I am sure they have them in Mexico. Love seeing your renovations and you certainly have a lot more storage now!! Stay cool :) Thanks for sharing!

Truly amazing effort to push through that heat and build anything. So ... Blood sweat and tears just for the up keep of Puffy Ville . Grrr8 effort and the results show. I hope you are keeping up on your water and salt intake on those "cool" 100 ish days. ♨🥵 P n D

If I'm not doing physical work, I can putt around outside all day at 100F+ no problem. I once spent a couple weeks in August in Lake Havasu City, AZ helping a friend fix up a house that she inherited. It was in the 120s in the day and mid 100s at night. The house had no air conditioning and I slept in the back seat of my truck in the driveway with the doors open. It was tough but I made it through two weeks working 10-12 hours every day in that heat. Of course I was 30 years younger at the time too.

@@dooglassandesperanza Yes... Just maybe the years may have had something to do with it. lol When weed whipping the 4.75 acres here, on a hot day I've soaked my hat & placed it in the freezer a few hours later I'd put it on and trim for a few hours. It did help. Those days the beer tastes extra good.

Hi Douglas I have been watching your channels since you started and love watching your videos, but the only thing I have not likes was you started selling part of your property. you are creating exactly what you are running away for in the US overselling property. I will continue to watch but just wanted to let you know, thanks

Thanks for watching. I'm not sure what you mean by overselling property? We moved to Mexico primarily for the weather and secondly for the simpler way of life. We also wanted to live in a smaller town away from the suburbs. Lower cost of living is a benefit but not why we moved here. I had a high level high tech job and could have continued to live in San Diego which is one of the highest cost of living areas in the US. I just didn't want that life anymore.
