    I switched to a simply layout for this year. I was finding that I wasn’t writing enough to justify a larger planner page. it also helps because I can decorate less which is the thing that tends to stress me out even though I love it. I use the monthly spread for my budget but my detailed budget tracking is digital so I can automate the math. I also found that I was scribbling on a lot of scrap paper so now the simply layout allows me to scribble in the notes section, so I don’t have random posted notes everywhere. LOL
    As much as I love, love, love decorating my planner, the thing that made my planner usable for me decorating less!

    I went to using a notebook to real with myself. I pulled out anything I was not using. I also switch layouts depending on what's happening that month.

    This year I switched to a Half-Letter size (8 discs) after using a classic HP for years. Love the change! It is more portable, I am able to find inserts that I really use more on etsy, and I find it just suits my life right now. I didn't give away my classic accessories( covers, dividers, bookmarks) because I still use them with inserts for budget and things like that but it is no longer my main planner. I think it is OK to change things up as your life changes and do what works for you.

    I’m using a monthly HP but have very detailed vertical inserts I’ve bought and modified from Etsy and I’m building my dream planner for 2025 which is an undated dashboard layout, but I’ll still use the same weekly inserts because they are super functional and doesn’t make me feel like I need to decorate every week unless I want to and still makes me feel productive. I’ll probably use the dashboard days for either meal planning, a word/QOTD, or scripture writing like you did since I have the option to add meal planning separately with some other inserts too. I have several sections and artwork/dashboards in there as well. I have a lot of A5 wide Croc covers from PrintPression in multiple colors that make me feel like I’m in a new planner all the time, plus they have removable rings (I have them in silver, gold, and black A5 & personal/B6 sizes) so I can switch back and forth between rings and expander discs & that keeps things fresh, new, and fun. I need lots of versatility!! ☺️ That’s what I’ve learned about myself from my lengthy planning journey over the last 10 years. Hoping to finally ramp up my own channel very soon.

    I just switched to a junior size (8 discs) & love using it as a catch all planner.. it's small enough for me to put in my pocketbook and carry with me.. I absolutely love it. Sounds like you like a smaller size.. so I think you should go smaller.. good luck!

    Girl! Me too! I'm going through the very same thing with all my planners (if that's what you can even call them because "planning" is not exactly what I've been doing of late...😒) but we'll figure it out right? 🙂

    Yes I have summer burn out. I use HP mini, skinny and classic with my stalogy
    Would maybe going to half size help you? It's a little btwn mini and classic. I was thinking of that maybe for home. Mini is my edc/otg planner
    Where are fitness sheets from?

    I had a fitness section in my frankenplanner and was just not feeling it. What I decided to was start using a dashboard and streamlining what I put it in. I’m now using a dashboard insert between the pages of my weekly vertical and using that. I have it folded between those pages. Hope that makes sense. I’ll try to show pictures of what I mean. Not sure how to insert a picture on here but I’ll try.

      I’m putting a positive quote on the front part of the folded page, my dinner meal plans on the back part of the page, and will put two fitness/wellness goals I want to meet for each day on the inside.
