The melody you sang at 1:43 is "Alcohol-Free" by Twice I think, and I can definitely see how "Mr. Vampire" is similar! I'm so happy you're getting into Itzy, they're so unnecessarily hated and it's great to see someone supporting them and still being respectful even if you don't like a song by them😊

Omg THANK YOU it was killing me that I couldn’t remember the songs name! 🫶🫶🫶 As I watch more and more of itzys stuff I realize more and more how much ppl are js following a train of hate. I’m obviously not gonna like every song (same w literally every artists discography) but the amount of ppl calling every song by Itzy bad when that’s so clearly not true is insane. It makes me feel like I’m going crazy lmao
@@DiceyBrycie As a huge Midzy, it's sometimes difficult to form my own opinion on their songs when all I see online is "Itzy fell off," "Itzy should disband," "Itzy is untalented," etc. Even as a huge Midzy, there's some B-sides that I dislike from them, and their title track "M.A.F.I.A. In the Morning" from 2021 is my least favorite title track of theirs. However, that doesn't change my love for them or their music, and I'm not trying to force myself to like songs that I dislike. I love "Cake" a lot as well, it's actually my 4th favorite title track by them behind "Cheshire," "Not Shy," and "Icy." At the end of the day, I'm going to listen to what I like, and everyone else should listen to what they like, it's that simple. Don't mind the haters, you're not crazy for having a different opinion than people on Twitter, no matter how much they may make you believe otherwise
@@itsrainingcaratzenstbh it’s better if you just listen to their music first and foremost and ignore the hate online. at first, it was difficult bc the hate was CONSTANT, but it doesn’t appear often for me anymore. plus doing that allows you to form your own thoughts before some no-lifer comes and ruins it for you (speaking from experience). if itzy peaks your interest, hop on the midzy train :3 but if they aren’t then that’s fine as well, just don’t resort to spreading hate or ignorance because they’ve already said they see it ALL

You definitely need to listen to other itzy’s songs. I really recommend Wannabe, Voltage, Loco, Ringo, In the morning and Not shy. They’re quite popular and there’s a reason for that!

I was sure you would like this one😂. Yah Cake is good for driving. Some songs shine in different settings. I know you are not a fan of Born to be but that song is going to be amazing live on a concert. i usually don't like songs that are too repetitive, but those are the ones I go crazy for at concerts because everyone can sing them and the artists love hearing the public chant. I guess they need songs for different moods and purposes

You should give their JP discography a listen! While they've had a lot of hate on their KR releases, their JP releases are generally really well received (even if not super well known), but I am curious what you'd think of them. I recommend Ringo (most recent TT), Voltage, and Blah Blah Blah, and if you are up for a 4th perhaps Sugarholic.
