Being a Sinatra fan since the early 50s, and experiencing him at his prime, I did not imagine anyone in my lifetime exceeding his Storytelling ability but Angelina at 13, and now at 16, has done it. She is ARTISTIC MAGIC like no other.
It was stated that Quincy Jones told AJ she was the greatest talent since Michael Jackson. Now we know she is the greatest talent that we have ever experienced, but that was great coming from QJ.

I have seen many, many Angelina reactions. I have probably heard just about everything one can say about this genius prodigy. Rather than rehashing so much that has already been said, I focus on something I haven't heard be fore. You made a point of singling out the piano player. That surprised me because the accompaniment was very simple, just holding a few block chords. It would seem that any first year piano student could have play that part. But no, simple doesn't mean easy or musical. As simple as that par was, it took serious musicianship to execute it. The timing, the dynamics, the sustain, the timing, every aspect of the accompaniment was immaculate and fully complemented the vocal. It significantly added to the performance. Very astute of you to notice that subtlety and doing it in reaction time.

This is, of course, an Elton John song. Angelina does what she always does and makes it her own, but the arrangement is based on the Sara Bareilles version.

@@jennifersmusicpage Older song? When Angelina was younger, she sang, almost exclusively, covers of songs from the 1920's to 1960's. So no, it's not really old for her. 😀
She wasno novice to performing in front of large audiences at that time as at 10 she sang an opening number in Korea in front of 40,000.
Thankfully Angelina didn't win America's Got Talent The Champions. Her loving family has been very patient with her career, which I believe is the right approach. I think her family wants her to be old enough to make her own decisions before having Republic Records fully promote her.
