This game was definately not what is was hyped to be. It was sooooo much more. Everything that happened far exceed expectaions that were already high. We saw our national team start to gel as they get ready to take gold. We didn't just get a tune up game as the All Stars put on a magnificent show taking the win. We got to see the much anticpated first connection with Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark who both came away with broken rookie records in rebounds and assists. A lot of casual fans get to see the greatness of Arike who already has an all star MVP game but took advantage of the stage that has been set this year with the arrival of the previous mentioned rookies that put world wide eyes on the league. It was just a win all across the board and let's be honest, totally destroyed the mess that the NBA has been putting on scoring over 200 points. i am totally converted and can't wait for the rest of the season

Arike went ballistic (and she does say she withdrew her name from consideration for USA.) 8 for 13 from 3. That's pretty nuts and is a clear difference maker that overshadows everything else that team provided. So aside from that one, superb, outlier, individual performance: the non-Olympic team wasn't clearly playing above the level of Team USA. There was always going to be tough decisions and gray area between the people who barely got on vs the people who barely missed.
I can truly say, the best professional basketball game I went to was a Liberty game back in the day when T Witherspoon was playing. A lot has changed since then but the rookie class gave a spark back to the WNBA. I like it

Great game! I felt the WNBA were a solid All Star team that matched up well inside and could dominate outside if they shot well. Then you got the MVP just feeling it. Nobody was stopping that fire! @@slytherben Steph all day. The NBA is good, don't be delusional. NBA pays for the WNBA. The W has 2 players that got people to care about it a little bit, Reese and CC. The NBA is full of stars. Playing women internationally is a lot easier than playing men. The NBA has influenced many countries to get better, USA still won the game, relax. Arike may not ever do that again. I can always count on Steph to hit shots.

Well her 3 point shooting has been poor recently ,but she is getting her points in the paint and a lot of assists.i think she has lost confidence in her long range shooting .which is what she was famous for.

Arike went ballistic (and she does say she withdrew her name from consideration for USA.) 8 for 13 from 3. That's pretty nuts and is a clear difference maker that overshadows everything else that team provided.
So aside from that one, superb, outlier, individual performance: the non-Olympic team wasn't clearly playing above the level of Team USA. There was always going to be tough decisions and gray area between the people who barely got on vs the people who barely missed.

Ogunbowale showdown and with BStewart, KPlum, DTurasi, can all shoot from top of the key or both sides of the arc and deep corners and euro to the rim. Great of these woman to have put in hours at their craft to put in such a show for Reese and Clark, Mitchell and Boston who will only get better.

Great game! I felt the WNBA were a solid All Star team that matched up well inside and could dominate outside if they shot well. Then you got the MVP just feeling it. Nobody was stopping that fire! Great to see the rookies have a part in the win. Caitlin could easily be on either team as the starting point guard with a smart coach!
