And yet they expect us to try and keep ranking up. I know it's definitely possible, but there's no need to slap players in the face by having them lose constantly to mono red or Boros. Really takes the fun out of the game.
@@BlobZombie truth. Boris and mono red are goated. Mono red has always held a top win rate with its speed. I’m not mad there’s good red cards. But you’ve facilitated an economy where if we don’t run it we are at a 60% win rate at best with good matchups and a 28% win rate at worst with bad matchups. And mtg arena decides what deck you’re playing against before we are hearing the game start music. And honestly, if I was running Boros, boros convoke, mono red, red prowess, old red white mix, I would play more matches than most because I was winning more. But it disregards those of us who want to play past turn 6 at best, turn 3 at worst.
Thank u so much for ur channel Swayze, this deck is the next, but now I have been working in the wild cards to my discover deck (from ur channel), amazing!!! Long life my friend, salutes from Brazil!
Out of all the content creators I've watched, you and Sloth seem to deal with mono red the most, even more than CGB, it seems. The deck looks like a blast!
I love mtg arena and I know mono red and mono blue are perfectly legal, but people spam them like crazy :( Nobody plays anything else. Love your videos, keep it up :D
Its videos like this that make feel like Arena is putting its thumb on the scale for drawing and match making Mono Red five times in a row, ok not unheard of, its a popular, quick archtype, but youre also playing control, which is counter to aggro. Then for each of those you happen to draw a specifc four of. Again not impossible, its a 4 of so its a sizable percent of the deck, and you draw 7 the first time so thats in pure probability around a 33% likelihood that one card of a opening seven is a specific four of. But that happened in all 5 games. So its whatever the odds of playing against Mono Red, or Rakdos that one time, coupled with the odds of having High Noon glued to your hand, which at 5 times makes it a .4% chance of happening without taking into consideration the match up chance since its unknowable So we believe that statistically unlikably outcome, or we start to believe that some thing is being done to push the probablies around
Arena is known to be rigged. It pushes everyone into 50/50 win rates while making it feel as organic as possible, but it is too often that we run into obvious algorithm shenanigans like we saw in the video here. My guess is that those aggro players had been winning too much or something making it their time to lose, and so the algorithm gave them what was likely to be a forced loss. Implying that Swayze wouldnt misplay of course. WotC has said that ranked supposedly isnt rigged, but would you believe liars?
I had a two card combo in a deck I made that I had go off 4 of my first 5 games after I made the deck. After that stretch I never had it able to happen again in a week. Just perfect
I permanently uninstalled Arena a couple weeks back because the matchmaking algo is clearly fixed. The shuffler is no better. It's undeniable. Unfortunately there's no point in playing a rigged game.
Probably because they think they can pilot it all the way to the top of the mountain, pun intended. I don't get why anyone would play mono red outside of Silver or Gold. However, I've heard Diamond rank's the most difficult to rank through.
Honest answer that people don't like is that they're bad players. 90% of mono red players wouldn't get out of silver or gold, but mono red aggro is so strong that it carries them. They probably get to mythic and lose game after game with any other deck so they just default to playing it. Mono red is the hallmark deck of bad players. People don't like to be confronted with that but it's true. If you gutted mono red, the overwhelming majority of these players would be at best, hard stuck in gold
@slaphappy-qb3jb I've been playing mono red since the nineties, and it was far more strategic and calculated than it is currently. I'll always love mono red, but the way it is now, it's just not any fun. I really hope Bloomburrow changes it to where it has more durability. From what I've seen so far, I'm hopeful.
Sometimes the algo just wants you to lose, mono red match up, having to double mulligan, missing land drops.
It is obnoxious.
It really feels unfair sometimes. And then the stretches of decent runs feel shortlived compared to how many times you get screwed.

Great buidl, great games. The wins vs mono red are so satisfying ❤

The deck looks like a blast!
But Sloth fucking LOVES IT
@@omidthebigbearsalari This is true. 🤣
Another day, anther banger, keep up the great work man.
I got nothing but mono red a couple days ago too… everyone woke up seeing red and hopped on arena
People love their dopamine more than actual fun. Hence monored was born
Having played this deck for about 20 games, the one weakness I see is that there are no sweepers to reset the board when you fall behind.
I love mtg arena and I know mono red and mono blue are perfectly legal, but people spam them like crazy :( Nobody plays anything else.
Love your videos, keep it up :D
The mono red gauntlet made me laugh
That deck is fire
Mono red, mono red everywhere. I'm a bit tired of it, I hope bloomburrow shakes things a bit.
bro what a nice deck, nice monored killer XD i´d love to play it but im afraid cuz rotation, anyway tons of fun sen you (Y)
all that mono-red is the game trying to tell you to add a red mana source so you can fire the high noons second function...
Personally, I loved watching mono-red getting owned.
23 min game you had the win with high noon
Yep saw that too.
no red mana to sac high noon
Man am i ever struggling with playing control this season. Loss after loss, I'm not the best player but holy shit it's frustrating
need to take out a hullbreaker and add a land
I'm surprised you don't run a single board wipe
Soo much red and so many high noons 😂 nice okay at the end. Wish wizards could ban mono red once in mythic but that cant happen.
Missed lethal 22:53 high noon for 5 plus the 2 6's
And exactly how is he supposed to tap red mana here ? Maybe you start understanding how cards and mana work before acting all “pro”
24:29 Why are we still here? Just to suffer?

These type of consistent mana screw feels like there's an algorithm preventing these types of decks
Thank you for proving how insanelly rigged this game is.
You did not want to say IT so I will😂
Greetings
Nothing but mono red and Boros the past two days for me. I’m sick of it
Matchmaking is broken depending on the deck you use
What is most appalling is all the monored decks on mythic. I get running it to get to mythic, but why keep doing it?

First🙂!
nine times and not even 1 showing in the video....
this game is trash
boring deck
Boring comment
What a boring thing to say.
Mono red player confirmed
Taking the time to come in and write that comment. You must have a very boring life.
