Lmao this is scary accurate I started a food trailer and catering business and my best friend went behind my back and started a food tent and stole alllll the ideas I vented to her about, we built my trailer from the ground up and took longer to start up but she beat me to the punch with a $60 tent and all my ideas🤦🏻♀️

I am trying to change careers and move into a new direction but I keep encountering blockages. I applied to a new job at a hair salon and I wrote a fantastic cover letter and they rejected me. I feel so disappointed for even allowing myself to be excited about a new opportunity. I have been so pessimistic lately, so the one time I go out of my way to try something new, only for it to go wrong, is incredibly demoralizing.

And indeed, I have been ruminating on past disappointments. Yes, my health has been compromised and I made a bunch of changes including quitting alcohol and increasing exercise. I have not seen you for a while Chris mainly because I have been crazy busy looking after my elderly parents. That has become my job one I love and yet it’s hard. I have had a lot of changes in the last 3 years. I have become even stronger and more resilient so when others be them family or friends push me I am able to stand up for myself instead of standing by a let them push me.

Holy effing shit. I’m beside myself rn. I’m almost 50 years old and been thinking, is this it?!? I’ve literally been going through such a dark night of the soul for what feels like ever.
