Some nice ideas here. Every Christmas I make some kind of ornament for the shop assistants at my local supermarket. As a disabled person they go the extra mile to make shopping easier and a pleasurable experience. I’ve done this years but you’ve given me some ideas for next year and the year after and the year ……😊
I think that's beautiful and I'm glad I could give you some ideas for seasons to come. Of course, next Christmas I'll have all and different ornaments to share. Vicious cycle!
Wonderful tutorial! I really enjoyed watching! I crafted for many, many years. Now I am a quilter, knitter and crocheter. I do miss crafting and jewelry making! I need to get my supplies back out! I have always loved “clear” things, so the resin really got my attention! Thank you for the inspiration!
I love love love this video! I'm sure it was exhausting for you. But I want to thank you for pushing through and getting it done for us. You were quite comical in your voice-over. You had me giggling from the beginning. Those resin ornaments are gorgeous. I do a lot of resin work. I've done jewelry, key chains, etc. The one thing I haven't done is latge deep pours. Tables, large wall clocks, and such. It takes a lot of resin for those, and I don't want to ruin a large project. Lol. Thanks again for sharing your time and talent.

It can be scary to think about ruining a project and wasting money when a project doesn't work out. May I suggest you practice on a small but deep mold? This could be a Dollar Tree crate for example and demold by pulling the crate apart when finished. You'll be great! Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Happy to have you here 😁

Beautiful, loved the pink and black together. I love birds and we have owls on our ranch, so gives a homey feeling to me. Didn't know you could get leather to use like that will have to check the stores in Billings when I go to Dr. next time. Really love how the gold brightened them up. Spoons were great idea and could be used in many ways to brighten your kitchen. Love the oval wood, with cardinals. Never heard of this paint but would like to try it, like the look very much. Always looking for something new, Like your flowers. I have not tried Resin Yet but want to if I stay healthy longer. I may need more help with resin. Thank you so much, If I can keep myself healthy another Christmas I want to make my children and grandchildren and maybe great grandchildren a set of ornaments, It means a lot to me to leave them something I do.

Sometimes on an end cap. I really hope you feel great this Christmas and many more to come. If in doubt go ahead and make something for the family when you're having a good day and set it aside to gift when you're ready. Just a suggestion of course. I'll try to bring another resin DIY soon and there are probably thousands of videos already on TH-cam for beginners. I appreciate ya!
I just adore the owls! I have never seen the acrylic blanks at Dollar Tree - maybe because I’m in Canada(?). You are very creative, and you give excellent instructions, with lots of little tips and tricks that you have obviously learned over years of crafting. Good job. I think that would cut back on spray going into the air, but not cut back on loss of spray, unless I misunderstand. I spray in short bursts, as shown, to reduce over spray.
Yes and pretty recently too! Found them in the Crafters Square Aisle in a box on a lower shelf. If needed you can pick them up on Amazon, Lowes, ECT. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching, my friend!
