Sarah Adam’s 2nd book I heard was some content trigger warnings that made a friend feel uncomfortable. very intense make out scenes, language, lots of descriptive mentions of romance and mention of her being a virgin and unfortunately a fade to black scene. So disappointing I haven’t personally read it yet 😩
@@BeYOUtifulBooks Are you talking about the 2nd in the When In Rome series? I haven’t read that one yet but heard a lot of mixed reviews about the content so I’m nervous about it😅
@@BeYOUtifulBooks gotcha! Yeah I’ve heard such mixed things on that for the content!!! She has had a fade to black scene in a book before. I personally don’t mind it, if it’s not extremely detailed, done well & between a married couple. But otherwise I don’t like the fade to black.
@@booknerdktree I completely agree unfortunately I think she doesn’t wait until marriage. But again I haven’t personally read that one I’ve loved her books before but hearing that I kind of put it at the bottom of the TBR list lol
@ probably not😫 I know one of her books that I have read though I can’t remember which one now she did do it to where it checked all my boxes. But she seems to be going farther away from the clean romance with her newer releases😫
I personally didn't find it very horrorfiying. I was much too amused how unbothered the characters were when they found out there were way more raptors then they thought they had.
I've only read one Nicholas Sparks book all the way. It was A Walk to Remember. I don't like his writing much and his content is usually a little further than I want to go.
I've read Moby Dick. Never, ever again! The story is moving along and then straight to a science text book... and I'm a former science teacher. No, thank you! 😅
@@purejoy7006 yes and no? There is so much in the book that’s been spread out across the several movies made. But the tone of the book is very different than that of the movie.
I do think that the covers are done to intentionally appeal to an audience that doesn't need to be reading that material. Not that anyone should, but it's very sad to see it targeted toward an impressionable audience.
@@CourtneyReads exactly! It’s so sad and makes me very mad. My little girls are young right now, but I hate how much is/ & will be targeted at them that is pure adult content.
This was so fun! Totally agree on the "smutty smut smut". I made the mistake of reading a couple books in the Bridgerton series several years ago because they were recommended by a Christian author. 🫢 Yeah, no. Smutty smut smut all the way. 😝😝

I didn't know Jurassic Park was horror 🤔 is it really gory or something?
@@Celestria yeaaaaah, it has at least 3 pretty graphically gory parts in it involving Dino’s🦖

And yeah. No to Moby Dick. I read the graphic journal version and I think I got the basic idea so I'm good now.
Oh dear, bridgerton was recommended by a Christian author???
Oo graphic novel version, that would probably be the only way I would ever read that!
