Fit of rage, Prathap and Godson have had issues at work. Godson believes it was because of Prathap and the tiff he has with him professionally that irked him to hit Annie, when she questions him of Suganya. It all escalated from that point. Godson believes Prathap play dirty politics at work. And finally Prathap get to know of Annie and their marriage, hence according to Godson, he had to go!!
