It was never going to be easy for Sabrina Carpenter to present a track as good as Espresso. So it was a good move to present the next track with a different vibe. I do like the 80's musical elements in Please Please Please. She has a warm voice, hitting those low and high notes well, without going off key. I find Sabrina Carpenter a refreshing Pop artist.
@bro-t6y I was working at Capital Summertime Ball and took sometime out to watch Sabrina Carpenter. She is a really good performer as she is very interactive with the crowd. Now she is selling tickets for her tour in UK. What is sad is that many young fans are priced out.
I love the instrumental and vocal breakdown in music, analyzing the details. Although I am not a musician, I have a musical memory since I was 4 years old, it is easy for me to find similarities between old and contemporary songs, in addition to knowing unerringly if an artist is going to have an impact. Thanks for your work !!
I was not really familiar with Sabrina Carpenter. I saw her on SNL and thought she was a new star meaning the last few years, so I was surprised that her first album came out 10 years ago. I watched to a bunch of her videos and she can sing--unlike so many today that rely on auto-tune and studio tricks. I like her tone and she adds some nice textures and flips as you pointed out numerous times, that and the two octave range. What I haven't seen is belts and prolonged note holding. That would bring her to a different level. Good job breaking it down as always.
Thanks so much for watching! Yes it's like the old saying says 'overnight success takes 10 years' - I'm excited to see what her new album will be like, perhaps we will hear those belts and prolonged notes in there :)
@@ninaschofield You're welcome! I enjoy your reactions because of your musical insight. What was also great about Sabrina's performance was that it was live! Ya can't fake it there. :)
Hi, Nina. It's so good to hear a melody flow over such a range. (I think I'd mash it if I tried to hum it) There was so much going on in that arrangement as you described. Thanks for yet another introduction. 💚
It's a Beautiful Song ❤, and yes her breathing and Phrasing got me looking at her❤. That Hair pull you did DISTRACTED the Living DAYLIGHTS Out of me😂😂, Good Job. Thanks for your React Missy❤❤ Stay Safe Blessings of PEACE ,PROTECTION and All you Need God Fill in now and Always, Amen ❤❤❤

Next concert she's gonna get the biggest pop from the crowd
Yes I agree, definitely like the different vibe of Please Please Please compared to Espresso - both incredible catchy and refreshing, as you say!

@@ninaschofieldthank you for reacting to my future ex wife 😊
The reason why the harmony is so beautiful is because her older sister is singing with her. They’ve been singing together since day 1
Sabrina’s lyricism is so witty 👏🏻 She’s one of the pop girlies who’s actually having fun with it
