Speaking as someone who has a Rodeo and the Kelly that inspired it, the Balenciaga bag will not scratch that itch if you really want an Hermès bag. That said, I do love it, and it's very comfortable to use on a daily basis. I generally reach for it more than I do the Kelly at the moment since it's better suited to my daily life.
Balmain is stepping up their bag game. The Valentino bag in looks #6 and #14 with the black background and colorful motif seriously reminds me of Laurel Burch handbags. I guess you would have to be familiar with the Laurel Burch brand. My kids love the cat motif of Laurel Burch and I could not help seeing the resemblance when looking at looks #6 and #14. Great videos you have put out this holiday season!
I love what Alessandro Michele is doing at Valentino and at first I was heartbroken when he left Gucci. However seeing everything he has produced at Valentino already, it seems like an even better fit! Especially with a lot of the beading and florals, it’s a callback to 2000s era Valentino 🩷
I like the new Balmain bags. There was a Business Insider video about the downfall of Gucci. They mentioned that under AM, they had difficulty establishing a core group of "classic" bags because AM did too many variations of the classic bags which would end up on sale which in turn cheapened the brand image. It seems like he is already headed in that direction with Valentino. I think he needs to establish the new styles first. Then he can do a FEW seasonal styles. It looks like he is going overboard with all the different styles which will just end up on the clearance racks. His maximalist style is fine. He just needs to do it on a FEW bags each season. Not what seems like 50 or more. We shall see....🤔
Balenciaga is creepy in every way to me, I can’t get down with it. Those Valentino bags just don’t seem to photograph well, up close I bet they are lovely
The Balenciaga Rodeo bag does not feel nice. Tried one on the other day...the leather (maybe their mushroom leather?) feels cheap. My next bag will probably be a Fendi men's Peekaboo in the medium size... Such a beautiful bag...lol

I like the Balenciaga. But Ya idk about wearing it?
I'm still disgusted by what Balenciaga did in their previous campaign.

I am 76….. the Valentino bags are 60’s HIPPIE 😂
Grr y'all insist on pushing Balenciaga as if it isn't 1009 brands doing knockoffs of Hermes 🙄
I like the balenciaga bag better tbh. It looks more work friendly
