I put a white timing mark on the knob, removed the spring that goes around the shaft, and made it so I can lock the knob so it only turns when I want it to. The white timing mark was the single best thing I did to modify the trim. Takes the guess work out of trying to get it trimmed the same each time.
That depends on just how shallow it is and how hard the mud is. The stretch I'm running in this video is only a couple inches deep and has a hard bottom, so it's unlikely I could start in this exact spot. For starting out, a good rule of thumb for the Roost is one prop-diameter of water if you have a hard bottom. If you have soft mud, you can start with less water. The exact water depth required to start out varies by boat. Some need a little less, some a little more.
That looks like Ruby Marsh shantytown
Can you make a video of the boat itself ?
wow cant u share how u build this engine sir ❤️❤️❤️
How do you have your trim on the MB mini modified? I am not a fan of the trim on mine.

Can you stop in the shallows and get going again?

Not sure I understand your question. Could you clarify?

It’s a custom built light weight 1342 flat bottom boat.
