    If you're looking at the Ultra Bee - you kind of also have to look at E-moto offereings from other ('real' motorcycle) companies like KTM, Electric Motion, Zero, and Alta.
    Yes, most of those are significantly more expensive - but, in some case the adage of "you get what you pay for" holds very true.
    Some of the above companies have been making gas dirt bikes for decades and have a lot more experience and manufacturing capability than Sur-Ron.
    (edit-additional comment): The draw of the SurRon is (was) it's 'stealth' status where you could get away with riding it as a mountain bike. Not strictly legal, but it was stealth enough you could get away with it in a lot of cases. When you step up to a more 'real' dirtbike, that goes out the window and you are no longer in that stealth category. It's obviously a dirtbike. And... once you enter in that 'obviously a dirtbike' category that opens up the playing field to other 'real dirtbikes' (which the light bee isn't).

      Truth Be Told !

    • @emotobros
      @emotobros ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah the other companies certainly have superior offerings in some cases. That being said, the draw to us was never the stealth factor but more-so the weight and geometry of the bike. Riding a full size gasser through tight trails is always so cumbersome and they never descended very well. Coming from a background of MTB and riding gas bikes, the light bee was the perfect cross over.
      We haven’t been too stoked on the offering from other companies for that specific application (EM may be the exception). We’d love to test them all of course!

    Fellas when you display a flag always display union to the left. Please look at flag display rules.

    • @The_Privateer
      @The_Privateer ปีที่แล้ว

      Except... if you hang the U.S. flag vertically, with the union (stars) on the left and then step around behind it - the union will then appear on the right side.
      C'mon man, think it through.
