£66 million spent on interpreters who have paid NOTHING into the system, and add their treatment to that.
£44 million spent on DEI managers.
How many ambulances will £100 million + provide?
The NHS needs a thorough common sense audit.

This began when the councils sold off and shut old peoples homes that most councils ran and then private ones opened up in their place. When they were council run old people who were in hospital but were well enough to leave but needed monitoring but lived on their own would go to one of the council run homes were the staff would monitor them until they were well enough to return home. This cannot be done now as the private ones charge a fortune for this and the councils and the NHS will not pay for this so these poor old people are stuck in hospital beds until they are well enough to go home which could be sometimes a month or more. This is just one area when it is failing and having a knock on affect.

6 months fully paid sick leave then another 6 months at half pay. No wonder they have a sickness problem with staff.

We shouldn’t be paying for interpreters in the NHS. These foreigners should be able to communicate in English even if it’s bad English. Shameful. We need more front line staff including ambulances.

I took myself in to hospital at 11.45pm and was misdiagnosed with sciatica and sent home with a couple of codeine. The extreme pain in my back continued all night, it was unbearable, son took me to main a&e at 6am but was sent home again wailing in pain after they injected me with something unknown (a painkiller??) that didn’t work. Consultant said I was already diagnosed with sciatica so there was nothing more they could do. An mri eventually showed protrusion of a nerve in spine (not sciatica). These people who are being paid to care need to be held accountable for their ill treatment on so many of us. Hippocratic Oath means nothing anymore.

More than 20 years ago I had colleagues who worked on one of the biggest IT projects worldwide to bring the NHS systems up to modern standards at that time and it was a dismal failure and went more than 300% over the original cost budget, in excess of £10 billion. Such a huge and complex organization simply cannot change effectively when it is bogged down with ever-changing rules, regulations, demographic changes and limited budgets. Mission impossible.

Subsequent Governments like Blair’s adopted Care in the Community without appropriate accommodation or Carers, then Local Councils closed Care Homes because they couldn’t afford the upkeep. Now all they want to do is take care of illegal immigrants, prisoners etc whilst our own, people who have worked their whole life and paid into the system are constantly at the back of the queue for everything. Labour & Conservative politicians just feel that they have an entitlement to be in Government. Bring on 2029, Reform win the General Election and Nigel Farage is PM bringing Britain back into reality. 🤞🤞🤞
