3:13 or... you could just break the slabs, they're only smooth stone slabs and you dont have mining fatigue
edit: does he realise that if its not bedrock, he can break it? look at 6:45, he can easily break the quartz (which is quite easy to mine) but doesn't, and instead _uses f5 to find something._ like, just break the quartz and go. and theres even more times he could have mined it.
