      I agree, I usually have long nails, especially whenever I’m a guy with larger hands. When I trim my nails to make my nails short, I usually apply a natural manicure 💅 with a hardening clear coat of nail polish with two coats of color.

    DON'T CUT YOUR CUTICLES! Just soften them everyday with cuticle oil or a heavy lotion or cream, and then when you give yourself a mani you can push the cuticles back. If you do this often enough your cuticles do not get ragged. Also DO NOT BUFF YOUR NAILS unless you have strong or thick nails. If you absolutely must buff them, do it VERY GENTLY and not more than a few times a month, not daily. Buffing weakens the entire nail, because it thins the nails.

    • @sacredmirror9795
      @sacredmirror9795 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      Yes this video is filled with much misinformation and can cause more harm than good the the nail. The buffing, cutting cuticles, and the filing. You aren’t supposed to file back and forth , you’re supposed to just file in one direction with a glass or crystal nail filer to prevent splits and tears..

      Exactly Cuticles are the one that safeguard our nails from fungal infections or any kind of germ invasion.
      If you see her nails closely, it's literally disturbed.
      I can see cuts and she is not letting her Cuticles grow at all.

    Wow you made that look so simple! Thank you! I'm not supposed to go to salons anymore since I got a transplant. 😔 Doctors fear infection from any nicks. Your last step is similar to the lotion/cuticle step. Salons massage it into your hands and legs/feet before doing the cuticles.

    Ha, you have short nails???? I ❤ your nails especially the length...I wish mine were that long and just like yours. Most of my nail sticks out off the skin once the nails get a little longer. They get off the skin, I get dirt under them, it's tough to get the dirt out even with a pointed tip nail file. I even soak my nails. I also like to chew my nails not as much as I did growing up but I still do it...I just would like to know with pushing the cuticles back will it cause the nail to become longer in the skin area similar to yours or not? I know that's a dumb question, just curious though

    @No-One-of-Consequence หลายเดือนก่อน

    I'm very grateful for your advice and I mean to start doing this as part of my routine.
    But I have a weird question. I'm a man, and I was taught many years ago by a very important mentor that sexually trained men take careful care of their nails. No woman wants to be touched by hands that feel like dried out flank steak, and no woman wants to have some thoughtless jackass catching hangnails on her delicate lady bits.
    I knew one girl who'd been involved with this moron who was constantly scraping her the wrong way and thought I was a prince for thinking about these things. And I liked being a prince. Apparently princes are treated very well...
    I was seventeen when my fraternity big brother initiated me into this point of view, and my romantic existence has always been better as a consequence. I love women and I want to be considerate of them, so I have taught every younger man I have ever been a mentor to all the worthwhile things my late big brother taught me. I'm very proud of them all and some of their wives have even thanked me. Which is awkward, but still appreciated.
    So, here is my weird question. What kinds of things would you counsel people with rough working hands to do when they also mean to be considerate of their ladyfriends?
    Any advice for your average working guy? I'm a knifemaker so I work with steel and with wood, and hammer almost all day on an anvil, so my hands are kind of scarred and rough and I use a product that's just the same product the company makes for women, but which they rebranded "Working Man's Hand Jam" so they could sell it to guys like me.
    (There was a western where this one cowboy took grief from the other guys in the bunkhouse because he kept one hand in a leather glove full of vaseline 24/7 because he wanted at least one soft hand for his lovely young bride when he went home. I never forgot it. But you can't wear gloves when you work with rotary tools like angle grinders, drill presses, milling machines, and lathes, lest they get caught and pull your hands toward the cutting edges, so my hands take a lot of abuse and scar tissue needs constant treatment to soften it.)
    Thanks for the lesson. I'm going to start using the serum on my cuticles immediately. As I get older, they seem to get crustier. Probably just less blood flow to my drier hands.
