My favorites parts is when her hair grows and she became tall and skinny and just after that is “that’s your demise”. So amazing, entertaining and beautiful! Melanie is an inspiration! Thanks to her I’ve been inspired to express my creativity making cover of her songs as a tribute but in Spanish

It could just be a theory, but I think the game buttons are referring to Mel’s experience as a celebrity. “Say they’re demonic” I think is referring to Mel’s general aesthetic for her videos. “Give them long hair” is referring to people hating on her pixie cut and wanted her to keep it long. “Make them tall and skinny” refers to people body shaming her when Portals was released. “Chase them for a photo” refers to people taking pictures of her without even asking first. “Call them a B for being human” refers to Mel setting her boundaries and her “fans” call her rude just for having thoughts and feelings of her own. I also loved the representation of how Mel is being controlled by society, just like how a character is in a video game. And I also think the girl at the end is a toxic, obsessive fan, and when the screen said “Game Over” is represents Mel being her own person and making her own choices, and the toxic fan is very upset about it

I'll explain when it did say "their demonic" that was from the fans when this new era was made and "make them tall and skinny" that was about the fans saying that Melanie looks fat and "make them smile all the time was about" fans saying she doesn't smile that often now "give her long hair" is about that she got a pixie haircut a while ago and people were hating on her on that and "chase them for a photo" is about fans just randomly doing a picture without asking (this happened a while back) then "you made them upset" is about when 🍇 accusations were put up (it wasn't real) "call them a 🐩 for being human" was when she was standing up to her self
And in the cast list it is said that the person in the end is called Fangirl which is a just her fans

At the end of this music video it is a girl sitting at a computer, playing the game and basically upset that Melanie didn’t do what she was wanting her to do. And if you listen more closely to the lyrics of TUNNEL VISION, and also the prompts that pop up, it all kind of makes sense. Because we all were expecting and wanting her to see the transition into the next video but instead we got a game over and we got pissed off. Literally in the video she talks about taking their cup away. Maybe this is her way of taking our cup because we keep asking for so much of it.

the video is about how Melanie constantly feels like her toxic fans are always critizing everything she does and constantly wanting to control her like a video game, the meaning of every message that was shown in the music video are these:
Say they're demonic: how people constantly say she is demonic because of her new era and her new character that is a nymph
Fill their cup: Melanie fulfilling their fan's whims to make them stay calm, it could mean the fan's obsession to make her do whatever they want as well
Take their cup away: refers to the fact that they already had what they wanted or about discrediting Melanie
Give them long hair: refers to one time that Melanie was filmed on airport in Mexico with her true hair (short hair) and was hardly criticized by her fans
Make them tall and skinny: the bodyshame Melanie got on the ''the bakery'' MV and also refers that people see her as a goddess that can fulfill the whims of her fans, when she is a common person
Make them smile all the time: how Melanie has to act cool and nice all the time and when he doesn't, people insults her and hurts her emotionally, without evaluating how she may feel inside

I personally think it was such a missed opportunity. It could have been so much more! I think I’m just biased bc Tunnel vision is my favorite song off of portals, my expectations where high. Definitely lower budget then the other mv.
