    I had a 25 year marriage, with the most loving,caring husband and stepdad ever. I give God all the Glory as he who was the one who brought us together. Someday soon we will see each other in Heaven. We never went without saying I love you,going to bed angry was unthinkable and respect was earned and given. He loved me as I did him,unconditional and we put the Lord at the head of our family.

      Carriann Johnson it wasn’t always that way, but I knew the Lord had been at the beginning of it and we worked out everything together. But thank you. Give it all to Jesus and he will make it happen for his Glory

      Dianna... thank you. I’ve been giving it to Jesus from the beginning. Sadly, it seems bleak. We’ve only been married a little over 4 years. 😞

    Please pray for my husband. He is into some things that aren’t biblical. No drugs or physical abuse.
    Just things I feel God isn’t pleased about. He has always been one that goes ‘all in’ on new fads/things. He gets upset if I won’t participate. I truly feel the Holy Spirit putting up that stop sign so I don’t tread there.And please include me in prayer for patience and guidance. Thank you

    It's true JD, but still so very hard on those of us who have failed. And 2020 hindsight just sucks. I wish that these things were being shared years ago. I'm sure they were, but not every pastor was telling us these things so we even knew how to pray, or what to do, in the every day in and out, to find the hand of the Lord and the eventual blessing in it and through it.
    Life's hard but God's very good. Though regrets can be never healing.

    A truely heartbreaking message brother, I can fully understand your emotions as I’m deeply saddened by this as well. I can’t understand how people can give up on Christ. Hebrews speaks powerfully in 6:4-6 “that it’s impossible for those who were once enlightened, and tasted the heavenly gift, and have become part Akers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, IF they fall away, to renew them again to Repentance since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put him to an open shame.” Brethren, with much love I call upon you all to stand strong in Our Lord and the power of His might and put on the whole armour of God that we may stand in this evil day and stand firm knowing our Lord is coming for us soon. My heart is torn for those who choose to leave the Faith, I am deeply troubled for their souls. I can only rest knowing the Overflowing, Superabundance of Grace and the Favour of Our God and His willingness to help us and get us through the tough times which are a part of every day living. I’ve had more than my share of tough times also and can only hope in Christ our Redeemer. With all that is within me, my heartfelt cry is that no matter how tough the road gets continue on the narrow path and Never, Never, Never turn your back on Christ, hang in there, even if it’s by the skin of your teeth. 🙏🏻 The signs are everywhere, we’re not long for this world. “Therefore do not cast away your confidence which has great reward. For you have need of endurance so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.”For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry, Now the just shall live by Faith.” Hebrews 10:35-38. Blessings Family, we have a Reunion and a Wedding to go to soon. 😘🎺🌥⛅️🌤

    In case you dont know how to love your wife. or Wives loving husbands, it boiles down to this. Love is wanting the other persons greatest good. Above your own. If husbands love their wives and want their greatest good, and wives do the same, it is a match made in heaven. Study each other know each others needs and love each other like that. You wont have many problems. Take yourself out of the picture and dont be selfish.

    I see alot of men perturbed men in the comments lol. That's how you know you did something right :) Can I just add as a side note for women... don't complain to everyone around you about your husband. Like Pastor JD said, bring him unto the Lord then duck! haha. Besides, when you do that, you don't feel the need to blab to everybody. Trust in the Lord and He will take care of it, because He cares for you. And, in the meantime, God will show you some things about yourself that aren't so great either :)

    Jd, a few weeks a go, I went in my breakroom and I had made a comment that there was all women supervising up front (there are always men, but there was like 5 women up there kicking butt...I work at Costco) and how cool it was. There was two gay women in there, and someone made a feminist comment...and then another said "what I dont get is why the women always has to listen to the man" "its like you have to do what the man says" and I said "well there is a certain order that a man plays and God has put them in place" and one of the women blurted some extreme that men have played in the church, and she said "I used to go to a baptist church" and then I said "well that is an extreme" and I said I'm not a Baptist and she said "I knew you were one of those" and I said "What, a baptist?" Lol...and she was like uhhh . And then I just said "you know what the Bible says, it says Husbands love your wife's as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, and Christ suffered, was tortured and He died for the church, and that is how husbands are told to love their wifes" and no one said anything. I was like I take it as a compliment for someone to know I am one of those, lol!! God bless Jd

    So hard to find a pastor for men these days. They seem to mainly support women, even when we see what is happening in this day and age. The whole of the society is gynocentric, but it's always submit more.

    How is God positioned regarding pastors whom protect, mediate, for one whom committed such horrific act against an individual leaving them in an ongoing situations of distress. And this being a man whom married proclaiming God and his wife left to be victimized. Would you really believe the man is saved. I think about my bring a mother and left to raise my children by myself. Many a time I had to remove myself to bathroom to cry. As difficult as my life was my children were my glory and I would have given my life to protect them. As I am supposed to and should want to not only because of my love for them but because if my love for God. The responsibility of the husband granted by God is far greater. I listen to your and a few other preachers sermons that focus upon "called away to do the Lord's work" and I have searched the scriptures for an example whereby God actually called away the husband in decipleship abandoning his family leaving them at the mercy of every satanic element in the universe. I am commenting as I find the phrases utilized by a few preachers curious. Did Jesus not call unmarried men into decipleship. Is not the biblical criteria for a pastor which is stationary notably different. We are to love God first but God doesn't ever contradict himself. He didn't say husband's marry and love your wife provide and protect them as the Christian marriage is the representation of Jesus and the church unless I call you away. Would that not be someone walking in their own will if really saved.

    • @Ratlegion

      Very wrong of pastors, especially good pastors like Jd, to present this kind of message, because the truth is all of western society has submitted to women, but women are hardly ever addressed, because most of them simply can't handle the message.

      To be fair, he was talking about in a Christian marriage, not outside of Christianity. Of course the women of this world would be disrespectful and not obedient to Jesus so why would they be that way towards their husbands? Because they are not Christian's and don't have Jesus in their hearts. Whereas a Christian woman respects the Lord and remembers Him and therefore would be the same with her husband in their marriage if they both are Christian's. 🙏

    • @ronhansen7490
      @ronhansen7490 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cowchow4u true statement for sure sister. But would that not also apply to Christian men? Of course it would. We are all equal in the eyes of God. The problem is equal in both sides of the gender spectrum.
