AWESOME!!!! I’m finally going to my First Event May 27, 2018 Up in New York..... I’ve been to the Pure Stock Shootouts since 1998 Out in Michigan.... All the Men & Woman who put these all together, GREAT JOB!!!!
This class brings back a lot of memories. I nearly forgot about all those gaudy MOPAR factory colors, wide racing stripes and hood scoops. MOPAR boys always did have a strong tendency to over compensate.
Thank you for posting these awesome videos! Great quality and not having to watch all the down time at the drags is great. Very professional. I really like the way you show all the times after each run. Keep up the AWESOME work. Freakineagle
I love reading about FAST racing in hemmings muscle machines. I didn't even know it existed until I subscribed a few years ago. I just wonder what alot of the old super stocker guys think about how fast these cars are going on bias plys. Can you imagine someone like Bill Jenkins building one of these cars.
I was talking to one of the 10 sec. cars wondering why if these is heads up first to finish line wins why aren't they all running tens? And the age old answer....Money, lots and lots of money to make it look stock and run that fast on a skinny tire.
i saw an ad on racingjunk dotcom for a 70 hemi roadrunner that ran this series , the engines are big $ to make them so fast , it ran 10.89 @ 130mph partial list copied from the ad : $3k Callies crank , Mopar Perf. block. , 4.25 stroke , 4.325 bore ( 499 cubes) , Alum Rods , 14 to 1 comp. OEM heads fully c-n-c'ed by Modern Clyinder Head. , Fully ported stock intake. Jesel off-set roller lifters , Indy roller rockers price $59k it cost $80k to build , i would love to have it
Mite be big body...But they are not heavy at all like people think...Had mine across the scale with full tank of gas...full of oil and everything...3,450ish lb...and mine has power windows and fully optioned..real curb weigh "do not listin to wiki and other bias numbers" But from Ford and Marti..Dry they was 3001 -3200lb counts on options...The curb weight is less than a modern GT stang dry...And light as or a tad lighter than 69-70 stangs..And over 200 pounds lighter than a v8 camaro 73 curb
I still love watching B-Body's launch. No dip, no squat, just rise up and GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Love this F.A.S.T. racing, man is this fun and amazing to watch. Just wish it was out west too.
Insane fast on stock tires. Almost looked like MOPAR nationals. Great video.
There was definitely no shortage of Mopars in this one.Loved that black Plymouth.

Whats the rule with respect to roll cages in these cars? Many dip below the 11.99 or 11.50 requirement for a cage....
i wish i had gone in 2010 there are not as many mopars now.
Watch the convertible coronet top gets really big
Loved this video !!! Most other FAST videos I've seen were recorded by agenda driven shivy guys who edit out the mopars.
