Swainson's thrush! Fantastic. They sound so ethereal. Wow great job identifying the Mississippi kite!
Nice shots
I'm always so impressed with your work!
I see you put a lot of time and effort into this 👍❤️
🙂 Have seen many Mississippi Kites here. Swallow-tailed too.
New birder here with a lot to learn. I discovered your channel after looking for ID tips for distinguishing vireos. I’m enjoying your videos, particularly when you show photos and point out key identifying features. Coincidentally, I’m in the Penn Yan area so a lot of the locations you’re mentioning are familiar to me. I feel I’m in a great spot for bird watching!
NE Oklahoma. I had my first Alder and Yellow-bellied Flycatchers on Monday. Week before it was Least Flycatchers. They are the final wave of the migration along with some warblers in the forest I bird. The very last of the Swainson's Thrush are coming through. 👍
Once we start getting a lot of Blackpoll Warblers we know it is the beginning of the end of the migration here.
Try Four Mile Creek Preserve in Webster some time.
