Technoid? Kids who just go to raves and are not really into drum and bass music call the style technoid. When i was younger, we used to call it like that too, but noone know where that name came from. There is no such a style of d'n'b really...

Daniels K How come there are people in agreement who can instantly recognize THIS style as technoid? It's a subgenre of dnb focused on syncopated and "filled in" patterns that can be moved half of the measure and sound like a completely different pattern. It also creates an auditory illusion that the pattern changes when the accent changes, and that's, at least for me, the coolest and most distinct thing about technoid.
