So according to the devs. The charged bite can kill a full grown Utah if the bite hits its head. That means it does atleast 450 damage a headshot. Which also means 300 damage every time it hits the body. Hope that helps in combat. Also this is if that one video one of the devs posted on the devblog
I don't mind the male displays being colors as that is something that does occur in todays animals, mainly birds with the males being more colorful. At least stego has a model difference in the plates between male and female along with color.
True lol my main skin pattern is literally usually a black body that changes to gray then white on underbelly, with a grayish tint for the male display that I use to mimic the isle legacy’s dibble 2 color option for the crest

I bought this game years ago and never played it until last week. I’ve been having a blast. I found a family of fellow omniraptors last night 16 strong and we raised hell for a couple hours (didn’t actually kill anyone) then we decided to settle down and start families, so we nested on some rocks we thought nobody could reach us, as I was sitting on my eggs one of those thick tailed herbivores got on our rock and started tail smashing us to death before we even realized what happened. Great fun!
One thing not mentioned in the video is ceratos emmense durability They have skin that's much more durable so it can tank more damage than normal Ceratos have a innate bleed resistance bonus unless damaged enough so adding to their durability factor Lastly they possess a passive buff that when eating, they take no damage from attack that does under a damage threshold Also extra bonus planned for it, a dev stated the chuff call when over a dead body as cerato will grant a combat boost to make it more of a danger when trying to attack one while it's eating
As cera being my favorite Isle dino, I love seeing it get the things it finally deserves! To be honest, I don't necesarilly like the 3 call, I think it could be brought back to the OG 3 call, and maybe edit the 1 call abit? but other than that I love it!
yeah I thought that too, maybe make the chuff a 5 call or something instead of replacing the 3 call and make the chuff manual instead of automatic hopefully they might change that in future lol however I like the 1 call but I feel like some of the old calls are forgotten, 2 call is only a little noticable and 4 call I havent even heard on adult yet lol f call I havent heard either I dont think

I bet the only thing troodon will really be good at is being able to raise huge groups quickly, and maybe very very cooperative teams. Very speedy + fast growth + loud as hell = easily being able to find others of your species and being able to make nests and raise chicks quickly. Id need to find a video of a group of 12+ troodons to see what they can actually do. I really like the Cera vs Carno rivalry. Both seem like an equal fight on both sides. Cera is less tanky but seems to be more of a powerhouse with its septic bite, making it so they drain the stats of the other, even if they do die afterwards. While carno, as you said, wins in a head on and while its speed does help if it gets bit its not going to have a fun time. For the camera lock. I honestly dont mind it. Most players dont chunk rip which means that they are able to be ambushed, I think thats actually the main reason camera lock is there. It basically just means that if you see someone eating food you are able to sneak up behind them slowly and eventually ambush. It also means players should be trying to hide their food instead of eating in the open. So far this test preview seems nice. Cant wait to mess around with everything and see what joins my mains.

Lmao B patterns are actually really good for camo, with the right colors, those splotches easily break your silhouette when in forested areas or in shrubbery.
I find it funny how pesky disses the troodon as a worse Utah "The Utah does literly everything better than troodon" while forgetting to mention the fact that troodon is the first (and currently only) *venomous* dinosaur of the isle evrima. Honestly to compare the two is like comparing a small mildly poisonous snake to a komodo dragon.
Pesky when the troodon has kept calling and you made those noises mimicking them I was laughing so hard that I was repeating that 12:33 part and 6:26 for at least 20 minutes troodons call is so annoying but so funny
well about troodon, its a night hunter and pack hunter and benefits of being in large groups and let its venom do the work its not supose to be a full on combat god so ofc its gonna look bad if you don't play in groups lol

Also am I allowed to mention that Pesky is probably the only guy who actually have have the balls to crit talk about the game unlike other Isle players like Anthomnia, don't get me wrong I love his content and all that but GOD DAMN he do simp over the Devs.
another comment to feed the algorythm- I agree that the sexual dimorphism aspect in the isle is quite lacking. the B-patters seem to favor the "female" patterning or more "camo-based" patterns as the splotches could help hide, but the lack of male markings really puts a damper on the skins. Maybe the next roadmap could add additional patterns and increase the contrast between the genders- Carnos males having more coloration covering the horned crests and males being slightly smaller than females. Gali males having more coloration around the head, arms and tails- which would be more noticeable in feathered variants. Heaven help us if they dont show the difference between the male and female rexes when they come in- males being smaller but with bold male patterns decorating their heads.
Honestly, I like the Galli pattern B, I saw this red velvet path of titans color combo on it the other day, so I’ll play it, if only for just that one skin.

I have a question i just started this game and was wondering why I do not see what is on your screen in my game, I see my stamina the stomach and water but the other things I cannot see is there a reason for this.

I don’t think his turn helps a lot anymore with Evrimas locomotion system but his bite is actually really strong if it’s charged, good carnos and tenos from what I’ve seen can kill ceras easily, idk how well they fight stegos but I recently found out they needed dieno on land so it can’t run with an enemy in its mouth and ceras bite can actually make it throw up now so help that helps lol

i personally think its good for realism while charge bite can be used as a threat (a three call)
