    I wanted basically the same Wilwood set for my DC4 Integra, but then I learned they don't have dust boots which apparently are a requirement for road legal cars here in Queensland 🙄 So I'll be going with the D2 Race big brake kit eventually.
    Great to see another video from ya!

      I never even thought about that! I did want to actually use the Rx7 brake setup I had there just for the form of having a standard production part but just couldn’t fit them in due to wheel clearance

      @@luckyfunclub8641 it's a shame that the Wilwoods didn't clear the wheels either in the end

    I run the mrp willwoods as well, my ssr mk3s dont fit ither due to the shape of the back barrel, but my star sharks do, run a black slip on spacer and longer studs 👍

      What brake master are you running? I’ve just taken it out for a drive and feels good but maybe I expected a bit too much out of them
      I ended up doing extended wheel studs and a 5mm slip on spacer with no issues
      I’m just not a fan of running spacers but unfortunately it’s my only choice to run these wheels

    carbs or itbs what do your prefer drifting/street driving go!

    • @luckyfunclub8641
      @luckyfunclub8641  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t honestly had a decent drive of the blue Ae86 with the carbs yet to say! But between itbs and standard plenum there’s some ups and downs! The standard plenum allows plenty of vacuum for nice feeling brakes and consistent nice driving as the itbs sound amazing and that’s about all they do well!

    i've been eyeing those mrp wilwood brake kits for 13'' wheels too. bit pricey though so i'll manage for a bit with the awful stock brakes :D have you got to drive on them yet? how's the braking power compared to the stock ae86 ones
    🤔

    • @luckyfunclub8641
      @luckyfunclub8641  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’re a lot more expensive than I originally though and I wouldn’t of gone this direction if I knew I’d end up running spacers! I think the stock brakes aren’t too bad but they’re definitely not too good either. I haven’t yet driven it as I need to get extended wheel studs and put spacers in. I’ll try to make a video of actually driving it around and see if I notice a whole lot of difference

      @@luckyfunclub8641 I see! Looking forward for that new video then ^^
      I bought some oem toyota studs from the local autoshop, which carried in this size: Toyota (M12X1,5X40 Bore Ø 14,20mm). The bore had the exact same "pattern" but the diameter was a bit oversized so they locked in place securely.
      I am running a 6mm spacer just purely for the looks and these studs extended the stock ke70 ones the needed 6mm.
