A very good insight for people well done. It is damned hard in a Marine Environment keeping those Balsa Cores dry sad to say. Best Wishes. Bob. 👍✨️✨️✨️ eta a PS. The Worst enemy of Balsa Cores could well be Teak Decks perhaps ? 🤔

Thanks for the feedback Bob! You may well be right on the teak decks.

@@BoatbreakersVideo My next Sailboat will not have any timber on Deck, non slip only and it has that well tried structural Foam cores where needed, plus is very Termite Resistant, and is potentially Termite Proof with no Plywood Termite Restaurants in it. I may well be in touch for some useful spares from you at some point too. Best Wishes and every success to you. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️

You wrote that "Within 30 years it’s very easy to see during the destruction process it’s core strength is compromised and significantly weakened." It would be extremely interesting for owners of old boats if you had a video showing the difference in strength between an older and less old boat being crushed, stating their ages. My little yacht is 40 years old and still seems fine, but I guess it's hard to tell how brittle it would be.

Hello. I watch your videos with sadness. so sorry for the boat. do you have boats for sale that can still be used?

Export it to Australia- you would have been able to sell it here…..;)
