Definitely not weird at all. I remember seeing this comment and yesterday during my severe migraine this helped me. It helped me stop crying and calmed me down. And when I say severe I was contemplating getting taken to the hospital. Later I did end up going to get a migraine cocktail as they call it to get it to go away.
Matteo Quaglia bass singers are honestly the most talented. To hold a bass note for a long period of time or even a high note an active Lower is just incredibly
I must confess when I clicked on the video I wasn't very hopeful, I was expecting another baritone making do, but then 4:20 to 5:00... Holy sh... I was totally blown away! So many people seem to be taken in by high notes and I really can't understand why. Any singer worth the name can go up, low notes are the real problem and are WAY more impressive. Below a certain point is not even a matter of technique anymore, you either have them or you don't. Your voice is a rare jewel; a genuine bass chord, dark, smooth and rich in shades and harmonics, you truly are blessed, but you also know how to use it which is just as important. Hats off to you! BTW Have you ever thought about doing "Song of Durin" (Calmavi de profundis version)?
@@TomiPVideos Beautiful, thank you, lovely collaboration indeed. But actually Calmavi de Profundis version is very different, I ADORE what they have done with Tolkien's lyrics and I think it would suit you even better, especially since it gives the opportunity to truly show that amazing low register ;p. Check it out: th-cam.com/video/8PSFN2r6bXY/w-d-xo.html
@Ryan Corsaut I think it's safe to say that any singer is built, nobody is born with the ability to sing properly. Some might possess uncanny talent but technique is learned not inherited. What I meant to say is that it is way easier to extend your vocal range (it's not really "extending" it's more learning to use your voice at full potential, but yeah) in the high register and there are devices like falsetto (at least for male singers) and head voice which help you do that "easily". Most people struggle with high notes because they don't have proper technique, they try to reach those by force, pushing and building fatigue very rapidly which might give them the impression that singing high is harder. Actually the real difficulties in singing are diaphram control and breath management and the latter is WAY harder to achieve in the low register. Bass, baritone or tenor is just the type of your instrument; learning to use it requires hard work no matter what you are. I'm sorry if I gave the impression I was implying a bass is better than a tenor, that was never my intention, my immense love for darker voices is purely personal taste. All I meant to say is that to assess the real worth of a singer one should listen at how well he or she copes with his or her low register rather than be taken in by "superpower notes", at least as far as vocal range is concerned. There is of course way more to it than just that
As a baritone bass it's so nice to hear someone embrace the low and high parts of their range. Many baritones me including allways tend to song on one side or the other of their range and you really break that and it sounds amazing! Keep inspiring!

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
"Fools, " said I, "You do not know
Silence, like a cancer, grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells, of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence
I got goosebumps immediately when you started singing. Amazing! Wonderful! I love your voice!!!!

wow - that last part - very impressive. Loved the song.
Amazing and truly unbelievable.
I usually tend to not listen any "covers" of my favourite songs, because I've high expectations and in 99% of cases I get pretty disappointed.
But I heard your version of levan polkka and decided to give it a try. Now is your version one of my favourites.
Awesome voice you have, very soothing in all depths.
I just love it!
WOW! I just listened to this 5 times! What a beautiful voice! Bravo!!
Sound quality is awesome!!!! Your sound like a real professional, no you became a professional!!! Good job bro!!
Wow! I'm speechless. and that last note caught me off guard
Tomi now you really outdone yourself👏👏👏. That is the best song of you in my opinion. 👍
Well done. I've always been impressed with people that have the vocal range to sing this song. Your range is particularly impressive.
Whoa.... i have to say that this entire piece shook me to the bone. Like, seriously. It was scary good.
That's so f*ing awesome! I still can't believe what I just heard! I just had to get away from the TV and on the phone to congratulate you! Unreal!
So dang crazy! That high range for a bass is wicked crazy alone with his already super low bass he has. Omg this is the best.
Hi Tomi I hope you can read this just to tell you that I appreciate that you continue uploading videos and I thank you with all my heart that Ayas echo cover of one of the best songs in life and and for me one of my most favorite ... excellent work👏👏 👏👏👏👏
This brought me to tears I'm inspired by your voice. Not only was it beautiful but motivating I loved this thank you so much for sharing your talent💕
4:10 hoped you go for the E1 there
That was a B1 chets
AlphaStyle then a G1 chest fry
Try E3, lowest on a standard bass guitar. E1 is like 6 Hertz, and sounds like a helicopter.
WhtStr213 isn't C0 18 hertz though
@@whtstr2133 Hm.... maybe. www.audiology.org/sites/default/files/ChasinConversionChart.pdf
That just gave me chills. One of a kind. The ending just put this video on a whole different level.
I think u would do a great cover of long black train
Totally agree! Break into country gospel.
Truly amazing. First time in my life music has actually made me cry. For some unknown reason this made me really emotional. I really hope your voice and your talent become more widely recognized
Amazing singing ! And very creative composition !!
I wasn't prepared for this. I mean, yes, I clicked to listen to a bass singer but... my gosh... what a voice.
Amazing work, as always! Love the professionalism of the videos these days! - Great audio mixing too, well done Tomi!

This hymn about our inability to communicate would not be amiss in a church. The song has ended but still rings in my chest.
No wonder this took so long! It's a MASTERPIECE
Wowwww this is is so wonderful !!! Congratulations and best wishes from Bolivia, the Very Heart of South America...
I realy love what you did with this version you gave your own unique style ❤️❤️😁😁😁😁🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tomi, you don't know how amazing you are. You are so powerful. Something about this makes my ears vibrate and I cry. When I start to feel anxious, I listen to this on repeat and it calms me down a lot. Thank you ❤
I’m really impressed with your comment,if you don’t mind friendship please were are you from?
3:05 , 4:02 and 4:59 went through my ear drums like boom and I went like floating in the air like wow! 👏😲😱👍👍😎 Thank you so very much for this experience Tomi! 💪😏

Think Simon and Garfunkel would be impressed! 👍
I love the song. Always have. I didn't think anyone could out do the Disturbed version. Until I saw this. Wow. Fantastic.
4:01 is why I clicked on this video. Nothing gives me chills faster than bass singing like this.
