Anne Baxter 🌹
She looked and sounded fantastic. That low alto dropped another half-register, and she aged beautifully. I celebrate her.
Al Pacino has to won the Golden Globe.
I wish Tom was there. I love him, especially in The Dresser!
Al Pacino
Yes, Tom was amazing, and indeed out-shone the great Albert Finney. But the Academy did, as the Academy most often usually does, that is give the award to someone they know, or whom most of The Academy's members have worked with, partied with, politicked/schmoozed with, or for films that make them feel good,

That talent like Glenn Close has not won an Oscar, and Julia Roberts has, or Halle Berry (who was pretty good in Monster's Ball, but still), that Denzel Washington won Best Actor for that drivel, Training Day, and not his superlative performance in Malcolm X. I love Meryl Street but its almost lazy of the Academy to keep nominating her when there are many good performances out there.
debra winger couldnt win an oscar for ToE but jlaw and emma stone have oscars.
Two words: ERIC ROBERTS
Sad to see Anne here one of her last appearances
For me al Pacino won all the awards for scarface
I'd have given it to Eric Roberts
I still cannot believe that Eric Roberts was not nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for 1983's "Star 80" ...Eric Roberts was brilliant...He got all the talent and beauty in his family (little sister Julie "Julia" wishes she had half of his talent)
Obtuse silly comment
He doesn´t thank Ron Howard he thanks Ronald Harwood.
Eric Roberts deserved to win for Star 80!
it's courtney not courtenay christ get it right
No, it's Courtenay. IMDb him.
Tom Courtney robbed at Oscars
The reaction of Anne Baxter was very overrated, like Norma Desmond having her name called for best actress winner
