My topaz team is topaz/guinaifen/bronya/fu xuan
It’s not official because I’m saving for the Wind abunndance girl and I also am going to use henya the new 4 star harmony character instead of bronya only because she’s hot af and idk y I’m using guinaifen but she cute so she gets to stay

I really hope they improve auto battle. I know it's a feature most people overlook, but I particularly love to just put the game in auto while I do something else. Anyway, very nice guide as always!
I know it's a long shot, but it would be great if we could customize the AI the way we can in Kingdom Hearts main games. We currently have a lot of Donalds.
Yess, I know they probably want players to be more hands-on with the game but I've been using auto-battle so much I actually panic when the game forces manual mode on me 😅
I basically got her guaranteed this patch and I'm planning to use her with Clara and March. My Clara is E1 so Topaz most likely will be a skill point generator in this team. What I personally think will help this team a lot is March's E4 (mine's E6), that gives her 3 counters per turn, so between her and Clara the amount of counters is going to be insane. Also, even though my March is built mostly with defense, she's actually got a decent critratio, so I'm curious to see if with Topaz's buffs she'll be able to contribute to team damage
This is pretty much my idea as well, but I'm on the fence about March. I love her so much as a unit, and I'm always looking for any excuse to run her. But her ult is potentially big anti-synergy with follow-up attacks, and it may reduce the overall output for the team by CCing enemies, causing less follow-up attacks to be procced as a result. We'll just have to test I guess!

@@hotness1113 Ye ofc, but at that point you can start making cases for other characters to take her place, right? Having a char that just straight up doesn't have an ult due to team fuctions isn't that ideal.
You have my dream team for topaz. I'm brand new and f2p so I can only dream of a topaz team. I do have enough saved up to get topaz regardless of 50/50 but I don't have clara or even so much as an E1 March
She seems so fun to play with! Especially in SU with elation path. Topaz/jing yuan/clara/march would be a crazy strong SU team
I think switching March to Lynx would help out a lot here, since not only do you have AoE heal and cleanse with that and, since Clara is actually taunted and gets attacked more often, you are likely to do more damage anyway. Although one issue with that is if you are running a pure Quantum team in the other MoC slot, you might want Lynx there instead, which is my issue atm.

@@bendtvanbekkum4304 ?? Lynx heals lol. What do you do in that comp if the enemy decides to target anyone but Clara? Heal back up with March pity heal? That team with March has a good possibility of not clearing SU, which is virtually impossible.
@@bendtvanbekkum4304 Didn't know that, interesting. Does it maybe stack as well? There is still the issue with having no AoE heal, so if the enemy has AoEs or the attrition inflicted by just the taunt not being absolute mounts, you are on a timer anyway. Depends on how quickly you can take the enemy out I guess.
@@MrDahamstayou dont have to worry about heal in SU(unless you build your characters badly), so march will be best in SU/swarm but without blessing yea lyxn is better.
DON'T FARM ANY RELIC SET FOR HER UNTIL 1.5, BELIEVE ME (ALSO, DON'T FARM ANY SET FOR KAFKA TOO)
I know there's a follow-up relic set coming... but that's 3 weeks with subpar relics. pain

According to leaks, patch 1.5 will have a FUA relic set which will be her BiS by quite a huge margin (at the current time, still subject to buffs/nerfs/changes), probably worth adding that info so people don't invest too many resources into farming 2pc/2pc loadouts.
im happy i got her. seems like shell be good in the future for other follow up centered units. i hope they keep making "future proof" characters

Last time i had around 7000 and got Jing liu in my last summon... but probably i took a big risk by not having enough idk...
Miss Sevy, does wind shear stack? Like Sampo's wind shear and an upcoming 5* character's wind shear, (both from their skill) will they stack?
Typically each characters stacks separately and the break is separate too. Soo if the new wind character, sampo and break are all on the enemy then they will have 3

Got E2 Clara from my coinflip, and then got E3 Clara from the standard wishes gained from ascending Topaz.
It's a sign that I made the right choice to roll.
Topaz is the kafka of follow up attack playstyle she will get better with every follow up attack unit is released
The monumental difference is that Kafka's teammates are all widely available and her teams are top tier comps. Numby and the girl have potential if we get another dedicated FUA unit in the future (which can easily take up to another year or even more) or you need Clara which a lot of people won't have ever, because of how standard works.
a poor comparison tbh. Topaz didn't improved FUA as much as Kafka improved DOT.
She is not. She is not a FuA enabler like Kafka is for DoT. She is more like a 'FuA Leecher.'
I can see future FuA teams dealing more DPS without her.
Tbh kafka teams are starting to go down rn, i mean dan heng and jingliu teams are so good that they made kafka kinda meh rn.

She has good synergy with Pyro Main Character, especially when wearing Light Cone, where any enemy will get Fire DoT, for attacking Caelus/Stelle.

I pulled for her because I'm planning on choosing Clara/Svarog on my 300th pull in the standard banner. I need a good follow up attack team, so really good investment!
Wanted to get Guinaifen in hopes of seeing if I could use her with Kafka... 20 rolls and got Topaz with absolutely nothing in guarantee, since i dropped my rolls on jingliu. Didn't get guinaifen, but now I'm really looking forward to getting Clara from the 300 roll guarantee standard banner eventually. (got bronya so going for clara.)

I got broken keel set with fire dmg, double crits on both pieces, and can activate the set bonus as well. So far my best option.

Would asta work in a Topaz/Clara team with Lynx? I have her at E6 so i feel like it could be better for the team than Silverwolf, but unsure
Fun fact!
Due to her ult being a self targeting buff, it does end up triggering the 4 piece effect of the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace set
So once we get a full picture of the FUA set, we could use a 2p 2p, or the full 4p of the FUA set, or if it doesn’t benefit Topaz enough to be worth it, you could go for the 4p of Messenger set so she can be a a fully supportive unit for a future FUA carry
I pulled for Topaz. Got her ~10 pulls from pity. Only got a single Guinaifen, so decided to pull some more. And got a Topaz copy before another 4 star.
At this point I'll just recommend people to have a 4pc Place holder Musketeer Set on standby. Most Universal DPS set that guves attack and speed.
Also completely useless on Topaz, but hey at least you wrote a thing

@@yoursteban3713 It is not lol. 2pc/2pc outperforms 4pc musk the same way 4pc musk outperforms no set at all. Maybe look up proper TCs and not this wishy-washy "everything and nothing is good, but I won't show you numbers" that Sevy does. Speed is universally agreed to be a dead stat on Topaz after giving her speed boosts, Sevy is the only one even mentioning the 4pc and Speed substats, dumbest thing you can aim for on her.
@@deliro8758 well, speed in topaz is a bit tricky. You either do it properly (around 160+ speed for max efficiency Numby) or not do it at all.
But, 4pc muskets are actually a decent piece to save. 2pc 2pc are always do well. So having a full set musket with decent stats will save you trouble to farm a full set whenever a new set comes out since you only need to farm the other 2 sets that can be anything.
*and some content creators did talk about giving Topaz speed. But since it's kinda tricky, not many give that too much tough and most of them just end up recommending Asta
I really love Topaz's character design, but I think I'm going to go for Seele for the full Quantum team. I don't have any worthwhile follow-up attack characters that Topaz could buff. I'm just glad Guinaifen is available in both banners because I want her for the DoT support.
Sevy is one of the few guide TH-camrs that doesn’t make me want to stab my eardrums out with toothpicks and eat them like cheese cubes. Good Job!

Got Topaz at 29 pity after winning a 50/50 and pulled Himeko from a 50/50 loss for E1 Jingliu (got the E1 Jingliu 3 pulls later though), definitely can’t wait to play Topaz Himeko

i am going to run clara, march(E6), topaz, should i go for lynx for further aggro and heal or use jingyuan.
I'm sad that I lost Jingliu but now I want Topaz to pair with my Himeko and can guarantee her. Problem is I'm not getting lucky on getting an early 5* and at 40 pity atm. Hope I can manage to get her 😭

Works well with himeko, she yeets through pig and the pig sits on her head, that’s all I need to be convinced to pull
As a Playstation player I was torn between Topaz or Seele, in the end I went with Topaz, pairs well with Clara, good to know, I kinda wanted to try a Clara, March, Herta and Topaz team, for quite a few follow ups, hearing Lynx can increase Clara aggro makes her an option, I plan to have Tingyun in the other team plus her unfortunate tendency to be attacked means i dont really want to pair her with Clara, I'll see how long a Clara, Lynx, Herta and Topaz team lasts... Thanks for the breakdown analysis guide.
TLDR: Tingyun having high aggro/chance to be attacked is 100% a meme and Tingyun can go with your Clara. They have excellent synergy that helps reduce the "rng" of Claras counters.
Not sure if you're doing the joke too, but i'd rather clarify to try and help out juuust in case.
The whole "Tingyun getting attacked often" thing is *100% a joke/meme.* There are no mechanics in the game that *actually* make her targeted more often than other harmony, nihility, or abundence characters, since they all have the same chance to be targeted (same aggro value).
Tingyun is actually one of Clara's best teammates (though a LOT of characters can say the same. Lots of other characters also like Tingyun). I always run Clara and Tingyun together and this "Tankyun" meme is actually not an issue. She is rarely targeted from my anecdotal evidence.
Also, since Tingyun gives Clara energy for her to spam more ults, that technically means that the enemy targeting is less of an issue since Clara ult counters always happen when ANY teammate is attacked. So, hypothetically, even if you dont believe me and Tingyun somehow "has more aggro than Clara" (not quoting you just quoting the meme), it doesnt matter much since Tingyun gives Clara more ultimates so Clara will still counter even if Tingyun is attacked.

@@dracov333 No worries, thanks for the advice, unfortunately I was speaking of my personal experience, I have a preservation unit gain aggro, and Tingyun still usually gets knocked out, it's so bad I've put pieces with HP on her, I'll keep the pairing in mind tho, at the moment I'm now planning to put a team of Clara, Lynx, Guinaifen and Topaz together
@@yhwach1 I first went with who I liked and both fit that, then I went with what benefited me most at this time and Topaz fit that, plus I plan to grab SilverWolf, so having double Quantum only hurts me at this point in time.
I pulled for her because I love her design, but Dan Hang is still the strongest 5 star I pulled for, and especially that I have his Light Cone

Could someone explain Topaz’s overall kit & how to trigger Numby’s follow up attacks? But explain it as if you’re trying to get an idiot or child to understand? 😅
Just got her recently & finally got her build to a point where I’m comfortable trying her out in battle…. But for some reason I’m having a hard time figuring out how to trigger Numby’s fua attack outside of his “turn” (seen people advance his attack or just get him to attack immediately even though his turn isn’t near)
(My FUA team: Huo Huo/Fu Xuan, Clara, Topaz & Ratio… - I also have E2S2 Himeko and E6 Herta, maybe I should swap a team member out for one of them instead?)
Waiting for that “ohhhhhhhhh….duh” moment to happen 😂
You have to hit a fua on the enemy with a mark, and when In ultimate you can use any attack on a marked enemy to advance numby
I got Clara's E1 while pulling for Topaz's E1, followed by Topaz's E1. It's meant to be.

Seele is cool and I don’t want to say she fell off but I don’t think she’s worth it anymore. Topaz damage isn’t crazy but it seems like this game is starting to change team comps from just hypercarry to dps,subdps,buffer,sustain and if that’s correct she’s great for follow up character teams. If you want a hyper carry character seele doesn’t compare to the recent powerhouses and one last thing if your looking for a quantum dps e4 qq can decimate content

I like Topaz, and I like playing Elation teams for SU, but I don't think Numby is quite what I'm looking for, at this time.

Inert Salsetto is not a bad relic to farm if you have a gepard because the other belebog relic set is great for him.
Belobog set is dreadful for Gepard. The set only gives him 15% more of his base def which is around 150 Def (when he already has between 3 and 4k) which leads to his shield increasing from roughly 2300 to 2370. You can't even reach the EHR requirement for the Belobog set for another measly 15% Def.
Broken Keel is his best planar without competition because he needs the Effect Res to fix his only weakness and he has EffRes traces on top of that, which help him reach the 30% EffRes threshold.
