In fact my mom always wanted to write a story about Lucy Leaf who was afraid to let go and was the last leaf clinging to the tree that autumn.

I just found your channel and I’m enchanted by your beautiful videos! You really have a talent making every picture frame a jewel I easily could hang on my wall. Here in Sweden we finally got some warmer weather today. And as a gardener I’m outside or in my greenhouse 24/7 from now and until fall. I hardly sleep at all summertime and like a bumblebee I enjoy my flowers, defying gravity and in winter I sleep, seeking warmth and rest until spring again.

That bought back memories I am turning 70 in two weeks and my first love was also a redhead on a bike and that was over 50 years ago autumn as you can guess being a may child is favourite time of year and have planted over 10 maples on our small property and still live in Ugg boots, heavy hand knitted jumpers and socks and velvet pants welcome to winter the pumpkins are picked ,no apples this year,my daughter cut the tree back to hard,blackberries were sparse and tomatoes what we got are finished,tonight is supposed to snow let’s see what happens,the leaves are slow to change this year,some have some haven’t no maples in full colour yet won’t be long though.enjoy the finish of one part of your life as a new door opens to another

And figs and clementines... yummy 😋 I think every season is great and we should appreciate the differences and opportunities they bring. The same applies to our own age. Each age gives us different opportunities. We should, however, always welcome our inner child. Keep on dreaming 🙂

This has been wonderful! That pie looks so dang good! I'll probably have some rhubarb crumble in the next few weeks. I make bunting flags for each sabbat, and I'm planning to add onto the chain every year, so over time I'll have a festive banner for each sabbat that reflects my experience with the season over time.

It really is. And I totally understand. We moved our lives from Melbourne to the High country three years ago. What a change, and how different our lives are now. But lovely. It did take a good 12 months to feel settled in our new home, so I know the feeling. Good luck ❤

Oh,yes,it is Autumn on your side of the Orb,I always forget about that! Here,springtime is happening the rabbits are acting bonkers and horny😂 The Dandelions will be here soon,I saw a few in a neighbor’s yard,but they poison their property with goodness knows what,so I will wait for my patch to pop up,along with wild strawberries,which,I believe,are deposited by aforementioned horny bunnies! They are small,like raspberries,and not at all sweet or tangy,they seem to just be married to the rain,and their children taste like rain. I love that! In Autumn,around here,the Dandelion greens become noticeably bitter. This is not a bad thing,a different approach to consuming is simply in order. I blanch them in recently boiled water,then add garlic and Turmeric,and eat it on a tomato sandwich,with a bit of butter,which I only allow myself to own in Autumn. I do consume butter at other times,but never inside my home,except in Autumn!

The Dandelions will be here soon,I saw a few in a neighbor’s yard,but they poison their property with goodness knows what,so I will wait for my patch to pop up,along with wild strawberries,which,I believe,are deposited by aforementioned horny bunnies!
They are small,like raspberries,and not at all sweet or tangy,they seem to just be married to the rain,and their children taste like rain.
I love that!
In Autumn,around here,the Dandelion greens become noticeably bitter.
This is not a bad thing,a different approach to consuming is simply in order.
I blanch them in recently boiled water,then add garlic and Turmeric,and eat it on a tomato sandwich,with a bit of butter,which I only allow myself to own in Autumn.
I do consume butter at other times,but never inside my home,except in Autumn!
