I have to relate a story to you folks...
As an avid flyfisher, I have read excerpts from THE book...
The Compleat Angler...
I have seen the documentary, The Complete Angler, as well as own the book by James Prosek...which the documentary is based on...per se...
A gift from a friend who also brought myself paperwork from a visitor center in England...so...I am kind of a fan...as soooo many others...
However....the one prime piece was missing...the book by the man himself...
Until one day...
As my wife and I were walking along a city street, in Trail, British Columbia, Canada...there on a public bench...was the golden egg itself...
A complete and unabridged, Woodsworth Classics, copy of
"The Compleat Angler"...from 1996...
The only damage being a slight bend to the front cover...
THAT was a sweet piece to add to my fisherman's library..
That's my story...

In the past few days I have caught 5 rainbow, lost 4 and caught 2 bass...and I am going out tonight to see what the Mighty Columbia river will give up tonight...

He, Brian Chan, and April Vokey are responsible for my recovery and walking again after a massive back injury that left me unable to walk up and down stairs for a year and a half...
