Dude I cant thank you enough for bringing this to my attention. Like how I ported the music and stuff I've always ALWAYS wanted a catalog of every part in the game and to just sit in the garage to my hearts content and just fiddle with shit and now I finally have that opportunity after like 15 years. This absolutely made my day, a real christmas miracle.
Glad to put this out there, I won't lie getting the prototype too work on windows was a head ache ha ha. But honestly I am surprised no one has done this video before. I've also put in the document below how to use the part in the main game too if your interested. Thst way people can use multi parts and dlc parts in the retail game. Honest I am tempted to do some lore videos on the game as I've spent so much time with it. Still hope you enjoy and merry Christmas.
@ Yeah I read your document, its a bit of a hassel but I wonder if someone can find a way to make the prototype build work in-mission with a newer Xenia version, then we can play without having to hotswap versions Ive already had a ton of fun recreating some of the builds from the trailers and intro, chromehounds has such a unique visual style for its mechs ive never seen anywhere else, cold war era land battleships (or in sal kar’s case, land copters) The lore and neroimus battles were also fascinating, id love to see you do some vids on CH to shed light on one of From’s most underrated games.
6:47 C-Nahl, my beloved! That's the cockpit I based my Sniper Commander hybrid on, which performed beautifully even in the face of the hidden cockpit meta. I can't recall if I used the Meade (33:03) or CL-100 (34:54) tank legs for it, however. I think I gave it triple Estocs (1:41:19) & triple Epees (1:47:16), too. I can't remember which radar I gave it, but it was a fairly big one. Man, so much nostalgia flooding back...
While this is good (especially for a Chromehounds fan who sadly found the game long after the multiplayer shut down), I'm wondering why the Change Parts option wasn't used for the cockpits.
@@benjaminfinlay829 Oh I can answer that one because I am a idiot ha ha. Still in truth, I recorded all of parts separately over a period of a week and was relearning the game as I went.

@@Nineball459 Oh the hot swapping is only for textures really. You can play the whole game through the prototype i believe, it just lacks textures.

@armoredcorelore good to know
Muscle Tracer: For Answer
I've never even heard of this title.
I thought it was just all Armored Core from their selection of Mecha themed games.
It's glorious!
@@TheSwitchBit It certainly was fun to look over and see what was once there.
Ah yes. Finally.
@@Azuchilimited Honestly I am surprised no one has done this video yet.
Huh, MAV reminds me alot of how parts work here, probably where they got alot of their inspiratio .
@@irishijo1 I have heard the creator of MAV did say he was trying to bring chromehounds back from the dead. so what you say maybe true.
We were cheated out of so many good parts...
