No more role playing and all that, and if people do roleplay they get called cringe. Despite the games entire purpose was to be a roleplay game.

Royale high had so much charm the way it was, it was already super fun and then everything had to change for some reason. I recently just quit the game in December 2023. I was starting to get bored of the lack of updates and activities in game. and then everything happened with the devs and Haley and it just made me disappointed and disgusted, I can just never see it the same way again.

I miss the old royale high. I didn't have to worry about if I have tons of diamonds or enough halos. I would play for hours after school and just do classes. I may not had the most expensive dress or the biggest dress, but I just had fun doing classes and using the stuff that I did have, it may not be the prettiest skirt but I felt pretty just being in the secret fairy on earth skirt and that was enough for me. Now I feel like I need like four halos just to be considered wealthy. I barely see any role-playing going on anymore and I miss it. I want old Royale high back (please don't make fun of me ;-;)
The problem with new Royale High is that bullying is WAYYYY too normalized when you're roleplaying. I really miss the good, old times when everyone was free, happy and comfortable roleplaying.
Royale High was one of my childhood roblox games, I would never forget the day I started and the mermaid/merman tails were there. 2019 new years quests, enchantix dark fairy dorms, non toxic roleplays, inquisitormaster, leahashe, iamsanna, gamingmermaid, jennisimer. Now the fact that RH is dying hurts me 😭😭
i miss all this and enchantix high is leaving soon i will miss it very much. ive only been playing royale high since 2019 but it was really fun back when i was practically addicted to roblox lmao. my favorite event was halloween 2019 i believe with the homestores it was really really fun. as time evolves, things change :( and right now in like a few years the rh we have now will be considered old so we just have to enjoy it and make the best memories!
the nostalgia is so peaceful yet painful, back then it was much nicer and enjoyable but the memories are truly special as it lasts to this day :") back then i was just 13 and this year i am turning 18-

I really do miss the roleplaying, staying up until 12am, "kidnapping" the light fairies, wearing mugalo faces, 40k being considered rich, the chicken heels, and no exploiting, hacking, and scamming. Those were the good days

why did no one tell me growing up sucks lol. in ye olde days of royale high i had so many online friends, was incredibly social, and was just having a great time. now im drowning in my school work due to adhd and im too scared to make friends irl or online bcz of autism and anxiety. and as a result im moderately depressed and its like 2 am and i have school tomorrow and im close to my breaking point right now tbh. not to vent in a youtube comments section even though i just did but god i just want to be a kid again. i never realized its been so long since i played or how long i actually played the game for but it really impacted me as a kid, its sad to see it go so downhill recently.

Today, if you open someone's journal, it will either be blank or it will have their shop with overpriced items that they sell in the trading hub. back then if you opened someone's journal it would definitely have something written inside, unless it's a new player...they would be dedicated to writing down what they did in a day in their journals, just like in real life! AT the moment though, the purpose of Royale High has become: 1. Get rich 2. Get richer 3. Repeat I went into a server once, it was Royale High Campus 2, I asked in chat if anyone wanted to Roleplay... Someone came up to me, they were wearing whimsy witch shoes, steampunk bodice, and a halo, they said, "Bro literally no one rps in Royale hIgh" They don't realize that roleplaying used to be the sole purpose of the game's existence...Roleplay and have fun. But, honestly though, sometimes the new Royale High IS fun! I went into a different server, there was a group of girls doing a 'Monster High' Roleplay... They let me participate, it was great, it brought back memories of the old Royale High... Hopefully things like those will become more common as the New School releases.
i joined in 2019 and i still have some memories, i remember just having fun roleplaying and hanging out in divinia. Don't get me wrong, i think the new maps are absolutely gorgeous i just wish we could go back to simple fun roleplaying, not people being toxic over trading

Ty for this amazing video, it's making me feel so nostalgic as a 2018 RH player. Looking back at those good old days when I were young and have no worries, since then RH wasn't just a game for me it was a whole new world that I could live with my own dreamy fantasies, I made new friends, I was so excited for every single updates, I waited patiently for each seasons to pass by, the devs were putting so much efforts into their game, I was amazed by how well the games details were getting, it was so wonderful. But RH is just so different now, it's hurt to admit that I've lost many interest in RH but that doesn't mean I want to give up my 3 years hard work so I still comeback to visit the game sometimes, I'm glad that these memories were real not just a dream of mine. Ty RH for these special experiences ✨
I miss old RH so much, especially years 2018-2019. I started playing in 2018 and I remember that almost everyone was friendly and people role played a lot, I liked to roleplay in the new campus. And seasonal events were new and really entertaining, not like now when we barely get any new things during seasonal events. My most fav event ever in RH is Halloween 2019 I wish they could bring back the candy hunt in the stores one day. But now RH is really boring, toxic and overpriced and the new school that takes years to come out. I hope that when it finally comes out people will start to roleplay again.

I've been playing ever since late 2017 or early 2018 when it was still Enchantix High. I was a light fairy who would always hide from the scary dark fairies with goth makeup and bat wings, until rh beta came out. Yes, I would still save for floor length skirts and at least one chicken heel, but I remember back then it was mainly roleplaying and just living life as a student, whether you're a Jake simp, furry, emo, daughter of ____ or whatever. It was great, and the only thing I don't miss is how hard it was back then to farm. Like, I would be collecting dims and all I got within an hour was what, 100? 200? I could never afford ltbs, and I gave my soul to collect all the og skirts. I remember the first time trading came out I was bummed that only level 75+ people could go because I had a whole list of dream items that included parts of the DD set. So I ground my way up to discover what RH had become by 2020 ish- a marketplace. All the new sets are beautiful and seasonal, and that is what gives them value. Now what was considered rich back then is currently low-income. Inflation is crazy... $1=1K dims. Imagine the values of items that cost over 100k :(
Now it’s all abot Materialistic things and It isn’t enjoyable anymore…feels more like a burden and chore. I don’t think I really want to bother grinding
The new community honestly is just embarrassing, the new school will come out and be in hype for a while. Then it’ll go back to trading. There are so many great ppl in the community but so little at the same time. Its now about trading, halos, richness, etc. ive tried for a while to get people back into roleplaying but people are either scared to say “abc to rp” or whatever or they’re just addicted to being rich and trading. Ive been rh ever since I joined roblox, the community is just disappointing.
i remember getting off the bus from school and asking my grandma if I could go in the computer in the computer room (it was a guest room but that's what we called it) and get on Roblox and have so much fun on campus 1 and also going on other games like work at a pizza place and life in a paradise, i miss the pat but i know it will never come back, its sucks but it's true

They don't realize that roleplaying used to be the sole purpose of the game's existence...Roleplay and have fun.
But, honestly though, sometimes the new Royale High IS fun!
I went into a different server, there was a group of girls doing a 'Monster High' Roleplay... They let me participate, it was great, it brought back memories of the old Royale High...
Hopefully things like those will become more common as the New School releases.
i joined in 2019 and i still have some memories, i remember just having fun roleplaying and hanging out in divinia. Don't get me wrong, i think the new maps are absolutely gorgeous i just wish we could go back to simple fun roleplaying, not people being toxic over trading

I used to play the old royale high on my tablet when I used to lose all my past accounts I really miss the old royale high it had nice items but sadly the creator is removing some old things I really don't want it all to go away I want it to stay as a memory forever... :(

Ty for this amazing video, it's making me feel so nostalgic as a 2018 RH player. Looking back at those good old days when I were young and have no worries, since then RH wasn't just a game for me it was a whole new world that I could live with my own dreamy fantasies, I made new friends, I was so excited for every single updates, I waited patiently for each seasons to pass by, the devs were putting so much efforts into their game, I was amazed by how well the games details were getting, it was so wonderful.
But RH is just so different now, it's hurt to admit that I've lost many interest in RH but that doesn't mean I want to give up my 3 years hard work so I still comeback to visit the game sometimes, I'm glad that these memories were real not just a dream of mine.

I miss old RH so much, especially years 2018-2019. I started playing in 2018 and I remember that almost everyone was friendly and people role played a lot, I liked to roleplay in the new campus. And seasonal events were new and really entertaining, not like now when we barely get any new things during seasonal events. My most fav event ever in RH is Halloween 2019 I wish they could bring back the candy hunt in the stores one day. But now RH is really boring, toxic and overpriced and the new school that takes years to come out. I hope that when it finally comes out people will start to roleplay again.

nah like 5 years ago when i was 10 i used to think i was so rich and better than everyone cause i could afford the flowers from the garden and the real life mermaid skirt 💀💀
and i actually used to use the journals to write how much i wanted to make my step sister disappear because she was annoying during the roleplay where im the better one 💀
most people wish RH updates more frequently... i wish it stayed like the 2017-2019 atmosphere.

I've been playing ever since late 2017 or early 2018 when it was still Enchantix High. I was a light fairy who would always hide from the scary dark fairies with goth makeup and bat wings, until rh beta came out. Yes, I would still save for floor length skirts and at least one chicken heel, but I remember back then it was mainly roleplaying and just living life as a student, whether you're a Jake simp, furry, emo, daughter of ____ or whatever. It was great, and the only thing I don't miss is how hard it was back then to farm. Like, I would be collecting dims and all I got within an hour was what, 100? 200? I could never afford ltbs, and I gave my soul to collect all the og skirts.
I remember the first time trading came out I was bummed that only level 75+ people could go because I had a whole list of dream items that included parts of the DD set. So I ground my way up to discover what RH had become by 2020 ish- a marketplace. All the new sets are beautiful and seasonal, and that is what gives them value. Now what was considered rich back then is currently low-income. Inflation is crazy... $1=1K dims. Imagine the values of items that cost over 100k :(
Now it’s all abot Materialistic things and It isn’t enjoyable anymore…feels more like a burden and chore. I don’t think I really want to bother grinding

I only started playing in 2019(possibly earlier on a old account) but this still made me sad 🥲
The new community honestly is just embarrassing, the new school will come out and be in hype for a while. Then it’ll go back to trading. There are so many great ppl in the community but so little at the same time. Its now about trading, halos, richness, etc. ive tried for a while to get people back into roleplaying but people are either scared to say “abc to rp” or whatever or they’re just addicted to being rich and trading. Ive been rh ever since I joined roblox, the community is just disappointing.

i remember getting off the bus from school and asking my grandma if I could go in the computer in the computer room (it was a guest room but that's what we called it) and get on Roblox and have so much fun on campus 1 and also going on other games like work at a pizza place and life in a paradise, i miss the pat but i know it will never come back, its sucks but it's true
