Hello from one of your long-time viewers, Eric! My wife showed me this channel several years ago. We enjoyed it so much that when we caught up with your newest stuff, we went back and watched from the beginning! This comment isn't directly about this video, but just providing a recommendation for you in your future travels. We visited Cincinnati, OH a couple of weeks ago. While there, we went to a mega-grocery store called Jungle Jim's International Market. (There are two locations, one in Cincinnati itself; the one we went to was in a nearby suburb called Fairfield.) The sprawling store features foods from all over the world, so you can sample foods from Africa to Britain and beyond. There's a huge candy section and an aisle devoted to unusual sodas from all over. But what made us specifically think of you is that this place is *quirky.* Have you ever seen a grocery store with animatronics in it? A monorail that goes around the circumference of the shopping center? A mini-movie theater within the store that tells the true story of how "Jungle" Jim founded the stores? When I looked up and saw the Lucky Charms leprechaun, the Trix Rabbit, and the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee singing oldies, I knew we had to tell you about this place. :) I have no idea the next time you'll be passing through Ohio, but we wanted to put this in our radar in case you were interested. We don't recall having seen you go there for one of your videos (and if we missed or forgot, we apologize!), but if you haven't, we definitely don't want to you to miss it if you get the opportunity! Anyway, keep up the great work!
Eric it is nice to see having a nice time with someone who shares your interests. I wish you the best and look forward to more videos. I noticed the obvious with the animals.

I noticed the ribs too, but we don't know if the animals are rescued animals. If they are, one can Not have them eat a lot of rich food, because then they might colic. The owner had a nice stack of hay, so even if you called Animal control, they might not do anything.

I raise goats, those goats look fine, well fed.
One horse looks thin, there is a multitude of reasons why a horse may be thin. How do I know? Because I have delt with thin horses (1 was way worse than the one in the video!), some I was able to get the weight on, others I wasn't. So many uneducated commentors on this video!!!
Those poor animals at the Harvest Host... I'm surprised they even allowed you to video their condition. So sad😢

Eric found the perfect person ever. I love this couple so much. I've been watching his channel from day one. My husband and I have been married 32 years. In these two are made for each other. I just love watching them and so happy that they are sharing their lives with us
someone needs to be reported for animal abuse.

Eric gave the name of the harvest host, all I would take is a phone call to animal control in that area
You're harvest host is not taking very good care of those animals those animals are you can see their ribs 😡😡😡😡
I totally agree with you, Lawrence.
That’s what my husband and I were talking about all those animals look like they’re malnourished
I noticed that too!😢
Your comment did not disappoint me
We thought the same thing
Your Harvest Host Farm stop in Utah held starving animals with their rib cages showing. They should be reported to Animal Control. How did you not notice. Aren’t you an animal lover?
Don’t worry! I’m sure all the other farms that make our food treat their animals super nice before the killing.

Wow the horses and cows are thin.
Even the cat came to the RV to eat
Dairy cows you should be able to see their hip bones but not their ribs
Beef cows 🐄 should look more solid
@@catherinedonoghue My vet would partially disagree. Jersey's will have prominent ribs as well. You are the first person on all these posts that has come even remotely close to knowing something about bovine conformation.
I did not watch this whole video. I had pulled up comments during your arch climb and I did not like what I was reading about the hh stay I hadn't gotten to yet. I do not want to watch malnourished animals. You are fully contained, Eric. Why would you choose to stay there once you saw the conditions? I'm really shocked n disappointed you would see that and not leave and report it. I would've been absolutely livid . I'm not sure I'm ok with your channel after that and I'm a big fan.
I agree with all of the comments talking about those animals being starved! I looked it up online, just to be sure I wasn’t full of crap first. Those cows rib should not be showing nor their hip bones! As you can plainly see there is no grass or feed or hay in that pen with all of those variety of animals.
Haven’t finished the video and seen the horses up close yet. I’m just utterly appalled! What is the name of that crap hole Harvest Host? 😢

Did anyone else, at first glance, think that was a snake that Eric was about to step over at 4:06 on his way up to Wilson Arch?.. lol 😊
Drone footage was fabulous
I would say it’s the harvest host guests that feed the animals 😮
Where is this harvest host located I would like to send them some food for their animals.
Eric's Perception: "Little - out of shape".. Really cool view, THANK YOU for sharing that with me. I too would explore what's available free, less crowd and after climbing one, it too would be my 'fix'. Enjoy all the possibilities !
Yes, some huckleberries are red, but purple are more common
Hello guys. Watching your video and a bit "Shocked" that you didn't say or notice that those cows & horses are starving!!! If someone forwards this video to the local animal control in this area. Those animals will be taken! Or investigated and put on a time frame to get those animals fed and in a proper weight for their size and age!

Yeah the animals definitely looked malnutritioned. I hope with all these angry comments that somebody actually calls animal control on them instead of acting so angry saying what people need to do then not calling them themselves. If we all call then something may get done about it. You guys should of stole the cat. I mean rescued the cat.
So have you called yet? What did they say? When will they be there? Thanks for speaking up and actually taking the initiative.
Please educate yourselves! These are DAIRY COWS! That's how DAIRY COWS look!!
@@Connie67 I suppose the animals that rushed the fence lines are just super friendly right and not very hungry? Like the starving cat acting like it's never eaten before. Go take a nap Karen.
Are the horses dairy cows?!
I live by dairy cows. They do not look like that.
It was a reason for Eric to visit that farm, to expose what's going on

You guys look so cute together so happy for you both enjoy your travels!!!
I have no idea the next time you'll be passing through Ohio, but we wanted to put this in our radar in case you were interested.
Hello Eric , glad to see you guys enjoying some good weather, and RVing . We enjoying some cooler weather and no smoke in Northern California, heading to the Redwoods! Safe travels!

Love that area, Beautiful!
Man the animals at this harvest host are all starving. Even the cats are emaciated. That’s why the goats and cows came to the fence. And are crying out. They need to be fead. They are all skin and bones. That’s so sad that they will feed you two and not bother to feeding their own animals. Even the horses are emaciated. They have hay for bedding but not for feeding them. Also there is no food in any of the food bens, and I didn’t see any water as well. The rocks are beautiful in Utah.

Has anyone contacted the authorities in the area this Harvest Host is located?
Love the Trump plate on the 150!!!!!
I came here to say the HH is neglecting those poor animals. The goats and cows are ruminant animals. They should have hay or grass 24/7 available to them. They are so thin. 😢😢

Wonderful trip. I loved the arches and appreciate the history and how they were formed. I think your trip through Utah is going to teach me a lot. Take care of yourself Tara and Opie,. Safe travels.
that looked like a great harvest host with all the animals and the baked goods, you guys lucked out to find that spot.
I like the opening music.
Utah really is beautiful
Hey Eric, nothing personal… OK it is personal… Your place looks so much cleaner and organized since you have a feminine touch on board!
Please tell me someone in the comments has reported the host already? Shoulda feed that bread to the animals :(
I noticed the ribs too, but we don't know if the animals are rescued animals. If they are, one can Not have them eat a lot of rich food, because then they might colic.
The owner had a nice stack of hay, so even if you called Animal control, they might not do anything.
This reminds me of the song “Salt Lake City” by the band “The Dwarves”. Good times!!!!
That Harvest Host unfortunately has a 4.7 rating. You can't even read the reviews without being a member. It's going to be hard to report. Being in the outskirts like that, who know if animal control will check.
Just clip it and share it. That's how most things get attention.
I read the reviews and no one seems to mention the abuse.
PETA looks into stuff like this if someone reports to them.

If you get a chance go visit the Garden Of Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado if you have not been there and also go visit the Manitou Incline in Manitou Springs, Colorado and Visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado to and also go drive up the Pikes Peak Highway also. Those are a few places that are pretty cool.
Those animals are starving! Please report those HH immediately!
Eric! First time I have to give your video a thumbs down. Animal condition is so bad I could hardly watch. Harvest Hosts should be put on notice for allowing them to be a hosting member. People think they are being “kind” by taking all those animals in but don’t realize the work and resources it takes to properly take care of them.

Nice video. Cool arch and amazing view.
- I heard that schoolies are hard to service, as most shops don't have lifts that big. To me, schoolies are good Tiny Houses, but on the road they look nerdy. Bad memories.
Will someone please report this place?
I’m out of country and probably can’t.
They are being abused!!
8:00 They should have checked their sign before they did their graffiti onto the rock face. Instead of placing an apostrophe before and after the "n", to indicate the missing letters, they placed two apostrophes, or one closing, first-person, quotation mark, after the "n".
Glad you didn’t have to defer to MacDonalds Golden Arches
I agree with most comments about how skinny the farm animals are. I would call animal control on them.
Yummy bread and oatmeal cookies🎉🎉🎉🎉did you eat ALL of the cookies?
PNW Huckleberries vary in color. Low-foothills have a red variety (awesome for jams and syrups) and the upper "Alpine" areas have blue Huckleberries. These would be purple in ice cream, like Blueberries would be. Incidentally, coffee ice cream and Huckleberry are in my top Three! 😊
OMG, those cows are Really underweight :(
Oh, the horses too!
This breaks my heart 😢
And now the hungry kitty, dang! These people are not feeding their animals well enough. These animals are all hungry!
😢😢😢😢
Oooooooh, we were out there at the same time. It is unfortunate that you weren’t told that entry to Arches before 7 a.m. and after some time in the evening…..is free. Also, they hold back tickets and offer them the night before. Sucks.
One of the best video's I've seen of yours in a short bit! They're all great, but something about the location and your precious companion's. Love to you all!
Wow, we just missed each other! I passed by Jackass Joe's UFO on my way to the Grand Canyon in my new Class C Sunseeker. I should've headed north like you-South Rim temperatures were in the mid-90s! I'm back on the East Coast now and planning to do Florida in December. I might head to Quartzsite next year for a ham radio event.

@@kcblues2sherwood652 Just because you were "raised on a farm" doesn't mean you know much about livestock (my own husband is an example of the same). I have certain goats that yell for no apparent reason and they have access to hay/browse 24/7. The only thing they don't have constant access to is grain and that's because I don't want to kill them.
