What you forgot is that the main way to train pokemon is catching and not battling, so it's not that hard. I am before surge's gym and I already have kadabra.
Ilay Amiel but I don't trust strangers to give back precious shiny trade evolution only Pokémon. Also don't like playing Pokémon Go to get melmetal as it's a very long grind.
@@onup1475 First, I didn't talk about melmetal. Second, you don't need to trust strangers. Although I don't have nintendo switch online, my friend came to my house and we traded pokemon. Now I have an Alakazam. If you don't have any friends to trade with that sucks but it doesn't mean that what I said is wrong.

I used Kabutops at Blaine’s Gym. I easily swept his team with just Kabutops. I didn’t get Squirtle until after beating Koga because I was lazy with catching 60 different species of Pokémon. And I had a Charmeleon that didn’t evolve into Charizard until after beating Giovanni.

For the record you do not need to be on the move for the Meltan box to work; actually it’s best to be stationary for the box to ensure you don’t miss a meltan spawn, also be aware they can run
you get Omanyte and Kabuto at level 44 you just need 1 level to evolve them and then you can basically sweep the gym Blains strongest pokemon is only a level 48 Arcanine.

For dratini, you can combo catch them in the canal pretty easy. You just have to combo 3 karp or tentacool first. Wat a fefw minutes and a couple dratini should pop up. Once you catch the first 2 it initiates the combo and they start spawning a lot more often. A friend taught me this and I am on a 50 combo for a 2 hour period of time (running away from a good handful too to avoid them running and breaking my combo). I'm gonna go into my elite 4 with a great stat, adamant dragonite.
My experience has always been that once I catch about 5 of the same pokemon, they stop appearing regularly. Makes me feel like the game doesn't want me to combo
I agree for getting melmetal is very difficult since I actually tried it and you only get 3 candy per meltan and you need to catch 134 meltan to get melmetal and you have to wait 8 days between each mystery box while only having 30 minutes to catch as much meltan as possible. But for the fossil pokemon, you get them from cinnabar at level 44 which is above the level to evolve them and so they should not be on this list.
I'd just like to point this out. You CAN get to Cinnabar once you beat Surge, as Erika, Sabrina, and Koga are not required to fight before hand. You just need to do the Pokemon Tower event, beat Snorlax, get surf, and navigate your way to it. The Pokemon fossils are also revived at level 44.

7:54 Battling Blaine was way too easy for me. I'm a Water-Type specialist and I swept him with my Golduck and Omastar.
I've caught 32 dratini, 5 with great stats, and I caught 3 dragonair. 2 of them were 1 star ok stats and one was 2 stars good stats. Gave all of the dragonairs along with the other dratini that didn't have great stats to Oak still got 4 dratini unused. The catch combo on dratini is actually pretty helpful in terms of their appearance on route 10 once the combo gets to about 5 in

My dad told me this if you don't let your pokemon evolve because when it's young it's evolves faster like with charmander if you wait and don't let it involve to level 40 you can evolve it realy quick into charzard so you only have one level realy just rapidly press B when that pokemon is going to evolve then wait till it is a high level and in 1 or 2 levels it will evolve in to its medium form then to its highest form so I hope I helped

Kabuto and Omanyte were resurrected at level 30 in the original games not level 5. I actually used Kabutops in my first run through of the original games because he was just that cool looking. Aerodactyl was the same way in terms of starter level.

In that time line, Kanto hasn’t been exposed to all the other Region Pokémon (excluding the Alolan Forms of the original 151 Pokémon and Meltan and Melmetal). Plus in this timeline, the Kanto Region has Mega Evolution as if Kalos War still occurred but this time your main character is not Red but YOU. You are the newbie, you are destined to be the Kanto Champion after Blue was defeated by Red but before Red left for Mt. Silver. Which brings to perspective: Did Red leave Kanto for Mt. Silver because YOU beat him after becoming Champion? And did you give Lance the spot of Champion within the three year gap between Red/Blue/Yellow/Green and Gold/Silver/Crystal?
To be fair I'd argue milotic to be harder to evolve than hydreigon
Harry Woodward Pre-Gen 6 yes it is. Post Gen 6 not so much.
the trade evolutions are the hardest to obtain because you have to pay a minimum of 5 dollars to trade them and then find people willing to trade yours back which takes effort. Melmetal is also tied there as you most likely paid in Pokémon Go to get those Meltan candies. Every other evolution is extremely easy in Let’s Go. You could make an argument for Moon Stone evolutions but those respawn.

Catching pokemon with auras give way more xp and more consistently than trainer battles. I have had no problems leveling up groups of pokemon just catching pokemon. Level grinds are actually easier with this new mechanic rather than battling.
Yup, before i even reached Lt surge id already leveled up 3 groups of pokemon to lvl 30+
Personally like the lvl grind unfortunately they really don't give the option.
Ikr, I actually ran put of pokemon to evolve up at one point... lmao! Been catching a lot of the evolutions in the wild also, making it even easier to complete my pokedex.
I'm not at all worried about trades, because I have go, and a family of go players who all want meltan. Haha we got all the pokemon I need, already in our go accounts. :)

My Kabuto came at level 44. All I had to do was almsot choke it to death while trying to feed it a rare candy without warning. Boom a Kabutops.
Wild pokemon sometimes appear IN DIFFERENT PLACES in pikachu vs eevee. SPent 4 hours trying to find dratini So if you're searching online where to find a specific pokemon, make sure you check it's the right game
My buddy had a black charizard I could still remember the story of the grind for that. Nonetheless, he hides that game cartridge in a safe so his little brother won't steal it from him...
In Let's Go, you don't have to catch a Rhyhorn for it to evolve. You can get wild Rhydons in the same places as Rhyhorn. So, there you go, your hard work has been done.

Dragonite is pretty easy to evolve in let's go pikachu and eevee. All you need to do is catch a shit ton of chansey in Cerulean cave, and to take your dratini/dragonair out for a stroll using the pokeball plus as you play Pokemon go or just go for walks. Be certain to hold down the front poke ball button to play with dratini/dragonair from time to time, and you should get a Dragonite sooner than you might think

Not sure if you knew, but on route 15 in let's go Pikachu you can catch a wild Dragonite. I just caught one while riding my Charizard (not sure if you have to be able to fly higher than you do before becoming the champion).

Joshua Choi my opinion is Kabuto is better. I am more of a physical attacker though so I think that’s why I use Kabuto more than Omanyte. Then again I hate the term “Lord Helix”. My biggest belief in Pokémon when talking about Pokémon Gen I is Mewtwo is the REAL GOD. The only difference being that Ghost Type can harm Mewtwo this time but by the time they can attack, Mewtwo has already used Psychic, beating the only Ghost Type Pokémon in Gen I: Gastly, Haunter and Gengar.
I watched a speedrun of let's go Eevee by Keizaron and his Kabuto was revived from the dome fossil at level 44, a far cry from the 5 or 15 to which eryizo was referring. He then used four rare candies to get it to 48 to learn leech life before evolving it to Kabutops. And no, you don't even need to beat Koga in order to get sea skim, just visit fuchsia to get it, then proceed immediately to cinnabar and get your fossil revived at a level way higher than the Snorlax you awakened with flute just before you got to fuchsia (and yes, all the gyms after the first are ripe for the picking, assuming you left them alone before this).
Two words for normal evolving. Chain catching. I was able to get my Eevee to lvl 82 before I fought koga. All I did was catch 140 Ponyta in a row (and caught a shiny in the process).

I can agree with Dragonite. Though it wasn't a problem for me because my friend traded me a lvl 7 dratini at the start of my play through and I kept it ever since so it lvled up as I went. And it was useful and the beginning because of dragon rage too.
I think it sounds like a pain to have to keep your traded Pokemon below the level cap for it to obey you.

Ezriyo I found a trick to level up pokemon like Abra without the stupid switch in switch out. Just get big catch combos on pokemon, then if you get a first throw catch excellent catch with both joycons you can get anywhere from 2000 to 15k XP per catch. It's not everytime but you sometimes get huge XP. My most was 15k and leveled up my pokemon 7 times!
For the #3 spot they are actually easy because they are resurrected and start out as a level 44.
Considering to 100% the game you need to battle with all evolutions of every Pokemon, means that no Pokemon is "just Pokedex filler". Each needs to be leveled, evolved or not, made with the most viable moveset, and battled with. That was the point of the Master Trainers. To make it so you battle with literally every Pokemon, and don't just abandon 144+ in the box
I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but when I was shiny hunting during my first playthrough of LG Pikachu, I spent four days trying to find 1 single dratini. I sat under the power plant trying to find it and it never showed up. Had a 31 CC for a random pokemon and had a lure active the whole time. Such terrible luck
Melmetal is so much worse now i've used a box, my god why... hope you've saved those Pinap Berries guys, you'll need a whole lot more of them than you think.

The problem with let's go eevee and pikachu is that they included the exclusive to pokemon go pokemon meltan and melmetal. And you can only evolve meltan to melmetal in pokemon go. And they locked mew behind a $50 pokeball controller.. luckily I had a coworker who plays both go and let's go and he was nice enough to give me a meltan and a few alohlan pokemon so I managed to finish my pokedex missing only mew and melmetal.
playing red as a kid my hardest pokemon to evolve were: gyrados; buying a magikarp just before mt moon and having to switch as there was no xp share was just painful. Kabutops; having played the game through 10 or so times only once did I have the patience to train my level 5 kabuto to kabutops and it wasn't even that useful in the end. Dragonite: lvl 55 enough said, but it was worth the grind. Golem: I always loved the geodude line and my older bro was the only one who had the link cable, I had been using gravler throughout the whole game and one day he finally let me trade with him and i remember just being in awe and using rockblast againt wild level 2 ratatas. Honestly im so excited for this game and I'm picking it up Monday, just wish it was harder to level up because the grinding actually made for some of the most memorable experiences.

FIRST you can only get Meltan from a special quest.Befor Meltan it would turn into a Ditto once u catch it.You have to complete 8 stages of walking hatching battles etc and NO one is going to trade u because it’s the only one they can get so you have to do it for yourself then trading it.And one of them is catch a Ditto which it hard to find because it transforms into Pidgey rattata etc making longer to finish it

Watching this video makes me proud of catching Dragonair next to the power plant and then evolve it after I beat the elite four (when I got it I used it on my team but it didn’t evolve because it was level 53 when I beat my rival).
In 2016 I caught a wild dragonite on Go. He's my buddy Pokemon so I'm debating about transferring him to switch
yeah finding dragonair is not easy but with the right supplise (Like max lure) you will find it no problom at least 5-10 mins :)

@Eryizo Why does everyone ignore the fact, that Dratini can be bought at the Celadon City Casino? In Gen III for 2600 or 4600 coins, which means 52000 or 92000 PokeDollars. A bit pricey to be honest, but managable with the use of the coin amulett.
Did anyone else sequence break and take out Blaine as their 4th gym? So easy to level over there.

It was easy getting Dratini. Just get a high catch combo then keep surfing. It’ll pop up pretty quick.
When u revive them their at lvl 44. So just level it up once then u can evolve them.
If $20 a year is a hinderance then you shouldn’t be able to afford a switch in the first place
As a person who just spent 5+ hours getting a level 15 Dratini to a level 55 Dragonite I can say Dragonite is defitnetly Top 10 material.
I feel like if trade evolving is only hard for adults and older teens since not many people at their age would play it and then you would have no one to play with or trade with.
I personally think you should've waited for making this video because with just chain catching, the struggle with leveling is now nonexistent.
Just invest in the Pokeball plus. Makes leveling up all Pokemon a lot easier. Ijs. I kept my Abra inside it for 3 days while I walked around at work and it went from level 26 to 40 once I returned it back to my game. Also, any Pokémon you place in the Pokeball plus your still able to use it in game and gain double exp.

Meltan is the only annoying one to evolve in Let's Go. 400 Candies is fucking insane. Trade evolutions can be annoying if you have no friends to trade with...other then that, just go combo chansey in Cerulean Cave and you will be Level 100 in like..maybe an hour.
Not a Kanto pkmn but trying to get the Razor Claw to evolve Sneasel in USUM was a nightmare. I got a Jangmo-o shiny before a Kommo-o finally spawned in with a Razor Claw.
