      Ngl as a woman, I think the younger you are the better But that doesn't mean we should shame other people for that choice. Allah test everyone in their own way and women have other reasons for delaying marriage. (However I don't agree when women delay marriage because of education and have the mindset 'i don't need men' I just think that's silly and you're only making it harder for yourself) scholars say that khadija got married that old and as a divorcee because she was too good for the other men. My point is the prophet did both so there is goodness in both.

  • @starlight099
    @starlight099 4 ปีที่แล้ว +42

    I just wanted to mention that yes there may not be many practicing potentials it’s important as Muslims to not have a poverty mindset which will lead to eventually compromising. Live your life, work on yourself, your deen & dunya, fear Allah, make dua and the right person will come into your life when the time is right. Allah is Al Kareem & He is Al Razaq. So don’t limit His generosity, He can bless you with the person of your dreams (realistic of course). Patience, when the time is right, Allah will bring them into your life.
    Also about the some brothers want young women so they can mold them into being more compatible with them (I’ve heard this before & a lot of women probably already know this) , that’s a selfish, immature and insecure way of thinking. Perhaps if they were more secure in who they are, they would look for someone who can match them. Someone that they can engage with on an intellectual, emotional, etc level. How can you have a relationship full of growth and self development if you’ve made your partner a carbon copy of yourself?

    • @nasraqaali75
      @nasraqaali75 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is so sad this mindset is being promoted. They forget the sunnah of the Prophet when comes to his marriage to Khadija but they want to follow him in his marriage to Aisha though.

    I am 40 with 2 children but look 30 Alhamdulillah and there is a brother who is 22, married and pursuing me to be his second wife. Now, before you judge , I am ok being a second wife Alhamdulillah, his akhlaq and deen is what I am happy with Allahuma Baarik but the only problem is I don’t know how I would feel about his age facing him later, I said to my self I wouldn’t mind if he had beard and physically look a bit older than his age, he is Maasha Allah good looking and slim built. I have met a lot of brothers much older than him but wallahi he is wiser than them. I have always been an open minded person and know what I want Alhamdulillah but this time I don’t know somehow I am unable to come to any decision on this. It would be helpful if you, my brothers and sisters in Islam assist me with your advices wisdoms. JazākumuLlāhu kheyraa.

      Asalamu alaykum sister I'm a sister(this is my brothers account) I would tell you don't do it.honestly there is to much of a age gap in terms of like life and technology and culture have changed so much I don't really think you would be able to understand each other. men in there twentys especially in this day in age are so immature and very unstable alot of the time and they are into teenage love(which is for 2 week's)and alot of men feel very intimadated by older more stable women.and you have 2 kids and have to understand that you might not be so compatible if he has no kids and is that young there might be some problems.young men have a hard time caring about their own kids when they are young forget kids that are not his.and you have 20 years more live experience and that might cause of alot of headbudding.any ways that my two cents on that and I hope you find it beneficial sis and one last point be VERY carefully of your kids(may Allah bless them)alot of weird men prey on single mothers and rape and molest their kids and the crazy thing is you might not notice so whatever man you do marry watch your kids and tell them if anybody touches them in their private parts and just be very wary no matter how righteous he seems inshallah.i pray Allah blessed you with righteous kids that are the coolness of your eyes and a righteous God fearing husband amen

      @@hdstudio3736 jazaakilllah for your advice sis, and I can understand your genuine concern, but I know the brother and was introduced to much older brothers that have known him for years and are teachers in the the mosque, they said a lot of good things about him. He has a child. In terms of my kids, Alhamdulillah I am known in my family and community to be a responsible and likes to give her children an Islamic upbringing therefore I am very cautious, with the help of Allah, about who I bring into their life, I also take their safety and well-being very serious Alhamdulillah.
      About the compatibility in terms of the age, I would say he is so much into what I want which is seeking the Islamic knowledge. He is an old soul lol he doesnt like social media and is even stricter than I am in the deen Allahuma Baarik.

      Praise be to Allah.
      Firstly:
      It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines:
      She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them.
      There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32].
      She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 .
      It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female.
      And Allah knows best.

    Disgusting I would never marry an fornicator just like the Quran stated an fornicator marries another fornicator.An virgin marries another virgin.Brothers and sisters who are virgin and stayed away from zina don't marry an fornicator.And those that fornicated marry another fornicated who repented.
