- President Uhuru Kenyatta today met elected parliamentary leaders of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition, telling the gathering that he shall discharge his constitutional duty and hand over power to President-Elect William Ruto. And without elaborating, the outgoing president told the members of parliament that his leader remains Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga. And as Sam Ogina reports the gathering of Azimio La Umoja legislators was aimed at laying plans for the upcoming races for speaker of the national assembly and speaker of senate as houses of parliament convene tomorrow.

I think it was just a game played by both Uhuru & Ruto to ensure that Ruto gets sympathy support especially from mt Kenya.
