Hey , the day after we left there was a land slide on the harts pass road. It has been closed since. The rain we had on the last night brought parts of the mountain down. We had good timing.

If you are just doing a section no permit. If doing the entire pct, you need to contact the pcta to get a long distance permit. Last year was an amazing experience.

@@MrGipgap thinks it’s short enough not too count. More than 500 miles is what the pcta considers a section.
