I am from Mobay sis try and plant a vegetable garden in your backyard if you live in your private home if you live in apartment that option might not work however since you drive we all know someone in the country side of Jamaica take a day trip and get food from the local farmers there that definitely will lower your food bill. I love these videos! Showing the cost of living, how long it takes at the tax office, running errands and doing everyday things...my guilty pleasure is watching these 😁 Honestly...groceries are the same in the U.S. Some things might higher and some lower. It's ridiculous 🙄
Watching these videos are also my guilty pleasure! While the cost of groceries may relatively be the same price (sometimes more in JA0 I think Jamaicans feel the pinch a lot more. Their minimum wage for a 40 hr work week is about $85 USD. There are also a lot more social services in place in the US (food stamps, cash assistance, etc) to help offset the costs for poor people.

We work 39h a week for 1100-1200 average salary a month. 2 bedrooms + living room apartment is between 500 and 1600€ + 300€ for gas, light, heat, according to if you leave in Paris or a place you can’t find work 😂. The tea is 3-4€, spray 3-4€, dish liquid 3-4€, toilet liquid 5-7€, for the same products. They want to kill us. We don’t even have good fresh food 😭
cost of livin has risen everywhere so jamaica is no exception in this. food , rent, mortgage, bills. yuh just got to budget and cut back, buy bulk if you can store items. market is good for fresh items. keep it going girl. you are on the right track. bless up.
